NF has impacted the way that I think about lyrics and the message of music. The way that he presents himself through costume, scene, lyrics and instrumental all come together to present his message in his music. He represents his emotions through these things as well, this directly inspires me as I want to be able to do something similar to this as an artist. The fans of his music generally cringe to the messages of his music and connect directly with him on the topics which is a very powerful thing to do is capture people to that extent and I would love to be able to do so myself.

Post Malone's music is presented in a very catchy and interesting way through his use of instruments and vocals. He inspires me to think more about the widest range that vocals can be used as he uses them not only for lyrics but also seems to use his voice as a sort of instrument as he vibrates some of his lyrics to draw attention to the part of the song. He also shows me how even somewhat simple beats and instrumentals can be made into something very unique, which is something that many artists struggle to do, and he inspires me to try to find my own unique qualities.

Twice has inspired me in a large way as they introduced me to a whole new genre of Kpop. The way that their music is produced shows a very wide range of sub genres as well which I find very interesting and inspiring to do similar. Their musical style can vary totally from song to song allowing a wider range of people to be engaged in the group. I also find their live performances incredibly inspirational as they are incredibly engaging live with their performances and crowd interactions. I aspire to be able to engage and create a proper show like they do unlike other artists where the show is for the music they present a show that's about the music and them.

NF has mentioned many times that Eminem was a huge influence to his musical career. Eminem being one of the top artists in hip hop made sense, NF stated in an interview that he heard Eminem's music when he was younger and found it very ‘raw’ (Britton, L. M. , 2017). This influence is very evident in NFs writing of lyrics, less about the words and more about the flow of the words. He unlike Em doesn't curse but the lines he writes still have a hint of Eminem's personality within them.

He has mentioned multiple times on twitter and facebook about how he is ‘such an inspirational artist’. In an interview with Napster in 2015 he mentioned how much he liked how Ed was able to perform such an amazing show with just his voice and guitar and still be able to captivate so many people. This inspiration is very evident in NFs own live performance where he performs a lot of crowd work to try capture the crowd's attention and entertain.

NFs music uses unique instrumentals which utilize more instruments like violins and strays away from more generic hip hop beats. This style of instrumentation was influenced by Adele as evident by a lot of her songs which are very much about the instruments and her voice complementing one another to create a beautiful end product. NF has taken this way of producing and incorporated it into hip hop and made a new unique style out of this influence. Adele's vocals are obviously incredible and because of her NF broke out into using more vocals in songs rather than just rapping, evolving his music even more.

Post Malone has mentioned in multiple interviews that he has done that one of his big inspirations for getting started in music was ‘Guitar Hero’. In an interview with Mass Appeal in 2017 Post Malone stated that the reason he started learning to play guitar was because “I felt cool with the controller in my hand so let me just do the real thing”. Due to this initial interest Post got into metal music and from there grew his passion for creating music. Thanks to guitar hero he sparked his passion for the field.

Many different musicians look up to Bob Dylan and the amazing music he made. Post Malone is no exception to this and has stated how Bob Dylan influenced him. He said that Bob Dylan inspired him due to the way he was original and made choices that many others would see as wrong or too out of the box such as using an electric guitar for his music (Celebtainment, 2017). It's very obvious that this influenced Post Malone as his music was also a new style that was out of the box from other hip hop/ pop artists at the time.

50 Cent was one of Post Malone's influences that brought his musical taste into a more hip hop genre and out of metal. Post Malone's style incorporates a variety of genres to his music making it very unique, 50 cent was one of the major inspirations into this new genre that Post was exploring. It's evident in the works that have been put up that 50 cents writing for catchy hooks is something that stuck with Post Malone. His music emphasizes both the hooks and the rise to them which both artists share in common.

In a Zach Sang interview in 2021 they stated they used Wonder Girls songs to practice together and build their teamwork showing how much of an influence the group had on them. Their music being produced both by JYP also allowed for them to gain familiarity in their early stages as their producer was not new to working with large groups as they had worked for Wonder girls previously.

Members of the group have mentioned him as being their favorite artist and attempting to emulate his musical talent through doing covers of his songs and learning from them (Welle, D. 2023) . This is evident from Chaeyoung’s Melody project covering his song ‘Off My Face’. Twice being one of these were able to work very closely with Park and were able to see how he works and get guidance from him as they grow into the industry.
