This quote shows how the book represents trust gained between Faber and Montag. Montag shows how serious he is about the books and how he needs Fabers help to get what he wants done. By tearing the pages from the books he gets Fabers attention and he would only stop tearing if Faber helped. This also shows how important the books really are by Faber's reaction to the pages being torn.</div>]]></description>
