He know his mother was a slave, and she lived on another plantation.<br>Frederick Douglass says, " Fourth of July is yours not mine. You may rejoice I must move . My subject fellow citizens is American slavery" ( 47). I think Douglass was born a slave, so he understood slave's feeling. He fought for freedom human from salivary and equality. He says, " I succeeded in learning to read and write."(45)&nbsp;<br>He was able to help people in need of freedom and equality  with his knowledge. </div>]]></description>

" The plan which i adopted, and the one by which I was&nbsp; most successful,&nbsp; was that of making friends of all the little white boys whom I met in the street. As many of these as I could, I converted into teachers. With their kindly aid, obtained at different tines and in different places, finally succeeded in learning to read ."<br><br>It was through&nbsp;the help of those little white&nbsp;boys that helped Douglass reach his&nbsp;dream of being able&nbsp;to&nbsp;read come to reality.</div>]]></description>
