The people that would have had the most influence on him would be Moishe the Beadle. He was a religious leader he believed and followed, he was also a figure that taught Elizer of many things including Judaism. Additionally, his father was also a figure that had an influence on him. Elizer's father was his role model and someone he relied on as a parent; he listened to his words and had great respect for him.

At the end of the book:
What seems to have the most influence on him at the end of the book was his father. After his father has died, it just really pushes him to think about surviving. He wanted to only save himself now because he wasn't able depend on his father to help him anymore.

What experiences in his life so far seems to have been the most important?

Experiences that seem to have been the most important so far would be going to the church/mosque. He was devoted and learning and getting a better understanding of his religion would have been an important experience. Also his experience and time in the ghetto was important, as it helped shape and influence himself.

Towards the end of the book:
His father's death seemed to have been the most important experience. It made him feel as though he was alone, that he had nothing to worry or think about. He gave up and lost his drive, but he also felt a sense of relief as a burden was lifted off his shoulders. These experiences changed his mindset and stripped many things about himself.
