I taught preschool years ago but then ventured out to the corporate world. While having an opportunity to look again at my life and future, I realized that I wanted more. I needed to fulfill a desire to help children. I am completing my Masters now to fulfill that goal. I think educators have a unique opportunity to reach so many young lives. Within a school, teachers and staff are not only teaching academics but also modeling and encouraging important life lessons. Below is my husband (with my daughter), who is a middle school principal in New Jersey. I know he is one of the best administrators in the state because I see how compassionate he is about helping all his students in whatever way he possibly can. I love running -especially when I have good music to listen to. This is what I do when I'm happy or sad or even mad. I believe it's the best therapy and has numerous physical and mental benefits. So if you can't find me, I probably tied my sneakers up and hit the pavement.
