Dedicating her life to advocating for civil rights for LGBTQ+( lesbian, gay, bisexuals , and transgender, plus more.) She was in a strict catholic family in New York. When she came out in collage, which she also later inspired her to make things better for others who are maybe in this kind of group. Upon joining a small firm in Maine in 1987, Mary became the one of the only three openly gay lawyers practicing in the state. After all that she has been through was a disaster. But some how when she made history for people who want to marry their own genders, because that is what equality is for.
