And, maybe more important, I learned a good vocational school depend on well being and that institution is important for society, because it can develop many technical solutions for entrepeneurs and companies.

To live in Finland for a three month period was such a unique experience, and gave me the opportunity to face new challenges for both my professional and personal lives. In terms of professional opportunities, I’ve had the chance to improve my knowledge and understanding in so many relevant educational issues, to visit Finnish companies, organizations and schools, to strength my networking with partners from different parts of the world and to know brilliant and competent teachers and managers. Regarding the personal experience, to simply breathe the Finnish fresh air, to be immersed in the culture of the country and to walk safely on the streets and eventually talk to people made me look the world in a different way. I really believe I became a better person when I came back to Brazil to my home, family and friends.
Alexandre D'Andrea

The very deep changing I’ve experienced in Professores para o Futuro programme as a teacher was related to the understanding that students can demonstrate their outcomes if they are asked to, if they are instigated to, and if they are challenged to, in a very self-confident way, without being afraid of making mistakes, but taking the opportunity to develop their skills and competences. This learning environment must be constructed, as long as possible, together with the students, so they can feel theirselves part of the whole process. Even in the 21st Century, learning takes time, and this should be taken into account in the teachers’ day-by-day activities.
Alexandre D'Andrea
