• Which of these tips do you think is most important? Why?
The positive reinforcement seems to be the most important because it would encourage people to feel accepted and more motivated instead of discouraged and shamed for not voting.
• What strategies or tips would you add to this list?
Some strategies that I would add would to this list would be the addition of help with those with different languages/language barriers since there are probably people that feel either discriminated against or discouraged from voting since they may have difficulty with reading/speaking English. So by adding these tips on how they could be helped it might encourage more people to vote.
• Do you think these strategies are effective with people your age in particular? Why or why not?
No because people of my age typically already know this and more or less don't have much interest in voting one way or another. Possibly the ones that may interest kids of my age would be the accessibility of voting and being able to vote at home, as well as the idea that every vote counts, but that's about it.
• What kinds of advertising are most effective for you personally? Why?
I think the most effective kinds of advertising would be Ads on the internet, such as on videos. The reason being that I spend a decent amount of time on the internet and by repeatedly seeing Ads I may become conditioned to remember certain events/candidates and possibly become more interested in the topic.
• Ultimately, how can you make voting FUN and IMPORTANT for your peers to GET OUT THE VOTE???
I can make voting fun and important for my peers to Get Out and Vote by making the big voting line more interesting. I can start a campaign to bring free food samples throughout the voting line to keep voters fed and happy. This would even benefit the food companies involved, since it would be a form of advertisement for them. I can also make voting more important for my age group by getting my peers to realize that young people vote the least, but if we all did vote we can decide an election. I would stress that each vote isn't meaningless as all out collective votes can radically change a government you may be upset with.

• What is the overall goal of your GOTV campaign?
The overall goal of out GOTV campaign is to encourage and give awareness of voting in any kind of elections and increase the voting turnout rate significantly.
• Who is your audience? How will you identify and then reach people in your target audience?
Our audience is the young and upcoming generation. We would identify the audience by putting surveys on social media to figure out the age group they are in and find out if they vote. We would reach the targeted audience by setting up ads on social media like twitter and Instagram explaining why voting is important and how they are able to change outcomes and more.
• What do you want them to know about the election and the importance of voting?
We want them to know the elections are big deals as you are able to change the government entirely if you voted seriously and that with their votes the can change the lives locally and around the country.
• How can they get more information about the election and how to participate?
People can get more information about the election and how to participate by researching online on reliable websites such as USA.gov. Students should also reach out to their teachers for information as it's their job to form students to be exemplary U.S. citizens. Teachers should also take the initiative to inform students about upcoming elections.
• How does your GOTV campaign address the reasons for low voter turnout from the “What Affects Voter Turnout Rates” handout?
Our GOTV campaign addresses the reasons for low voter turnout by targeting young people as 18-29 years-old turn out at a rate 15-20 points lower than citizens 30 years and old. Our campaign also stresses how local elections are as important as national elections in order to increase voter turnout in elections such as mayor.
