In places like the Amazon Rainforest, thousands of trees grow, which greatly affects tons of ecosystems. It also has a wet and humid climate because of all the trees that are there. Human settlements can't exist there because of the special wildlife and trees, however, it provides 20% of the earth's air and lots of animal species live there, saying that it is mostly a place for animals and plants to live.

The amazon rainforest, The rainforest is tropical so the climate would be rainy and sunny. This geographic feature is very helpful to the earth and keeping people alive. Its presence affects the earth of life in a good way by supporting the earth with 20% of its own oxygen and this is how it effects human settlement in a good way, It is home to thousands of plants and millions of bugs. The rainforest also provides some trees for people but not all the trees can get taken. The rainforest is also where multiple animals live

Some of the negtive affects are how some of the deserts are very dry and get little to no water.

As well as the rubber tree being in the amazon rain forest and people can harvest it and bring more people around. And the rain forest brings a humid climate to that area as well.

The geographic features of south America affect the climate because in places like the Atacama deserts climate and ecosystem would be completely different then the Andes mountains. One way is because different temperatures and and different environments so people have to adapt differently because having to adapt to a higher and colder ecosystem is differently then adapting to a drier warmer ecosystem. So that will cause settlements to be different. Also one part of south America is full of forest and trees and the other part is made of cities and towns. By the forest part producing 20% of the worlds oxygen so that affects people in a good way.

The Amazon River (The 2nd longest in the world), has the greatest amount of volume of water. It's a long river, and contains 20% of all freshwater, so therefore some of its water is goof for us. And, the Amazon River effects ecosystems from its great amount of freshwater. But some people take it for granted and litter/pollute the water, making the water dirty. And it helps the ecosystem(s) by people being able to use the water for hydroelectric power, and food. And finally, the Amazon River also serves as a highway where its hard to build roads, the river is also very long (stretches up to 4,000 miles
