Some years ago in a different school, my students worked on project led by BBC on finding the salinity of the oceans around the world. They were so excited to see the contribution of theirs and other students on the world map and I am sure they felt connected. Their excitement and this piece of work has remained with me.
Studying and researching about pollution - causes and effects has given several opportunities for the student to think about how pollution doesn't have boarders and we the global citizens together have to resolve and solve it.
