It is undeniable that examinations have long been an incessant burden for students to carry which/that/where/as/in which/because they have to be well-prepared in order to excel and achieve flying colours. This is not to mention the high expectations from teachers and parents that they have to meet , making examinations deemed as an necessary evil in students' teenage life. Sometimes, aiming for high grades in the examination can bring dire consequences  to students' mental health which will ultimately lead to long-term health effects such as anxiety disorder,  depression and post-traumatic stress disorder, just to name a few. Thus, questions have arisen on whether or not examinations should be made compulsory when it comes to determining students' level of intelligence or learning progress.
