         <title>The Giant Diamond Robbery By: Elisabetta Dami</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>10/18/2017<br>The Giant Diamond Robbery is a fantasy book from the Geronimo Stilton Series. In this book Geronimo's grandfather forces him to play a golf game so he can get a giant trophy with a diamond on top. When their at the airport secret agent and, Geronimo's friend OOK needs to talk to him but Geronimo's grandfather pulls him away. When they arrive at the golf corse they see that the&nbsp; competitors are Sally Ratenmouse and Molly Ratenmouse. Sally runs the Daily Rat. Geronimo's newspaper company's biggest competitor and Molly is Sally's grandmother. Both teams try to win, but every time Geronimo swings he misses the hole, and Molly laughs. How strange! When its a break OOK tells Geronimo that Molly is cheating! Lickily Geronimo is able to prove Molly is cheating be showing the remote she used to controll Geronimo's ball. The golfers also find out that the real Molly was locked in a closet and the Molly playing golf was the shadow. In the end Geronimo gets the golf trophey.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Ramona The Brave By: Beverly Cleary      10/24/2017                         The book Ramona the Brave is about Ramona trying to be brave and her school life. In the book Ramona is getting to sleep in the new bedroom that is being made, for the first six months. Ramona has something to share to her new 1st grade class! When she tells her class that there is a hole in there house because they are making a new bedroom. No one believes her and everyone calls her a liar! Luckily, her class forgets about it. After a few more weeks her class has to make owls for parent night. Susan, a girl sitting next to Ramona copies Ramona&#39;s work and Ramona throws away her owl and on parents night crumples Susan&#39;s owl! Ramona has to apologize. After this incident the new bedroom is made! After a few more weeks Ramona takes home her report card and tries to hide it, but she has to show her parents at dinner. Her teacher says good and bad things about her and Ramona cries. The next day she is cranky until she meets her older sister&#39;s teacher Mr. Cardoza. He makes her happy and that night her dad calls her his spunky gal. Since her dad said this she went a different way to school. When she goes the other way she sees a ferocious dog. Oh no! ￼She is able to go around it, but she losses a shoe, but her teacher is noce enough to let her make another, and at the end of the book Ramona gets her shoe back, and she likes her teacher.</title>

         <title>I Survived The Battle of Gettysburg 1863 By: Lauren Tarshis </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>10/26/2017<br>The book I Survived The Battle of Gettysburg is about Thomas, Birdie, and the north and south soldiers. Thomas and Birdie are slaves at a farm when Birdie sees some people in a shed and realizes that they are soldiers for the south that love slavery. These were also the men that took Clem ,their cousin. Thomas and Birdie make a run for it! When they run they think that they are being chased by the rebel soldiers (The south soldiers are called Rebel soldiers and the north are called Union Soldiers) but the rebel soldiers were looking for a Union soldier. Thomas was able to save the soldier by, throwing a skunk at the people that were trying to catch and kill them. When the soldiers fled Thomas was able to talk to the Union soldier and found out that his name was Henry, and soon after they were of to the Union camp. Thomas and Birdie and stayed with them at the camp and marched to Gettysburg with them.  When the battle is taking place the soldiers need supplies so Thomas and another soldier go and try to deliver supplies because the other soldier that was supposed to go was in no condition to move. When they tried to deliver supplies their wagon was blasted with a cannon! Thomas is carried onto a stretcher and saved. but the other soldier with him died. Henry and a bunch of other soldiers died too! When Thomas woke up in the hospital he saw that Clem was their with Birdie. They all went to Vermont where they lived and studied with Henry's family, but Clem went to fight for the north. The book ended by Thomas and Birdie seeing snow. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>11/1/2017<br>The book I'm reading is Descendants. Mal, Jay, Carlos and Evie are the children of Maleficent, Jafar, Cruella de vil , and the Evil Queen. They spent their wholes lives on the Isle of The Lost, the place where villains are kept. One day Ben, the son of Beauty and Beast says that the children of the Isle of the Lost should be given a chance to live in Auradon, his soon to be kingdom. When the descendants (descendants are the villain kids) first come they go to their dorm and find out where the wand is. They go to the museum where the wand is kept and they trigger an alarm and they have to go back to school the next day. They go to remedial goodness class. Evie finds out that the wand will be used at Prince Benjamin's coronation. Only Ben, his family, and one friend that is a girl are allowed to sit in the front, but everyone is invited. Mal uses a potion that makes Ben want to be her friend, so she can sit up front and steal the wand. They both go to the enchanted lake to celebrate their friendship. When the time comes for family day Mal and her friends ruin it by doing something evil. They make Chad fall a sleep for 10 minutes. Then, the time comes for the big coronation and Mal gives Ben a cupcake so he doesn't like her anymore, but the spell already washed of in the enchanted lake. Ben actually wants to be friends with her. During the coronation Jane fairy godmothers daughter takes the wand and sends a zap at the Isle of The Lost letting Maleficent out.&nbsp; Mal and her friends turn her into a lizard and everything ends happily.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Trouble at Trident Academy By: Debbie Dadey</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>11/8/2017<br>In this book Echo and Shelly are best friends. When they are invited to Trident Academy they find their classroom and find out the first project they have to do is on shrimp and krill. They can have partners ans Shelly and Echo are partners. They go to Echo's house and Echo shows her cool tricks and then a pot gets stuck on her tail. They can't remove it so they put a pink sparkly cloth on it. The next day at school everyone&nbsp; notices the cloth on Echo's tail, bu no one mentions it. That day they go to Shelly's house to work on their project. Echo wanted Shelly's grandfather to help, but Shelly wanted them to do this by themselves. They got into an argument and they no longer were friends and they didn't work on the project together. The next day Echo spent it with Pearl and Shelly got to know Kiki, the new girl at school. That day they had Shelly had shell wars practice with Kiki. When a shell it Shelly in the stomach and Pearl said she deserved is, Echo no longer wanted to be friends with her. Echo and Shelly apologized to each other. They started working o the project together and Shelly's grandfather helped get the pot of Echo's tail. The next day they turned in their project and Kiki said sorry for hitting Shelly and they became friends.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Little Women By: Louisa May Alcott</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>11/14/2017</div><div>This book starts of with Jo, Meg, Beth, and Amy wishing they could by Christmas presents for themselves with the 1 dollar they had. Beth gets an idea that the girls should buy presents for Marmee (Marmee is a name for mother). When their mother comes home they see that she has a letter from their father, who is serving as a Chaplin in the war between the states. At the end of the letter it states "I hope I will be prouder than ever of my little women" and everyone resolved to be very good. The next day at breakfast Marmee goes out to see a poor family and when she comes back she asks her girls to give the Hummels, a poor family their breakfast. Each girl happily gives their breakfast to the Hummels. At night they get ice cream, fruit, cake, and four bouquets of flowers. Mr. Laurence the kind next door neighbor sent all these. He was pleased how the March girls gave up their breakfast. Mr.Laurence's grandson Laurie had the idea and told it to his grandfather. The boy needs cheering up Jo had said to her family. Jo and Meg got an invitation from Mrs.Gardiner asking them to a party. At the party Jo found Laurie behind a curtain and they danced and talked with each other. When it was time to go Meg had sprained an ankle so Laurie offered his carriage for them to use. The next day everyone feels out of sorts, but they do their duties anyway. Meg goes to teach the King children and Jo goes to keep Mrs.March, her aunt company. When Meg and Jo get home all the sisters tell about their day and Marmee tells a story with a moral.&nbsp; Jo had always wanted to go to Laurie's house and she went to his house when she saw him looking out the window. They talked and became good friends. When Jo told her family about the visit&nbsp; they all wished to go. When the family visited, Beth played on the grand piano. Beth made slippers for Mr.Laurence as a thank-you gift for letting her use their piano. A few days later there was a piano and note for Beth. It was from Mr.Laurence. A few days later Amy takes limes to school even though she was not supposed to and she got in trouble by her teacher. After a week Jo and Meg go out with Laurie, but Amy wants to go with them. Jo doesn't let her and Amy gets revenge on her by destroying her book that she was writing. After this Jo ignores Amy and when Jo goes ice skating Amy follows, but falls into the icy water. After this both Jo and Amy forgive each other. In April Meg goes to the Moffats for 2 weeks. At a part y Belle the oldest Moffat sister dresses Meg up like a doll and Meg flirts and drinks. When she goes home she confesses it all to her mother and her mother gives her some advice. When spring ends all the girls want to just play during the summer and do no work. Their mother says they can try it for a week and see how they like it. At the end of the week everyone is bored and tired from only playing and they all agree it is good to have some wirk and some play. A few weeks later the March girls go on a picnic with Laurie and some of his friends from England. They had a pleasant time. A few days later the March sisters go on a picnic with Laurie and do their work outside. Jo writes a book and she reads it to her sisters and mother. They all love the book she wrote. A day in late November they get a telagram from a hospital saying that Mr.March, their father, is very ill. Mrs.March goes to see him with Mr.Brooke. The girls are on their own. They all have jobs to do. Meg didn't ant to, Amy got bored, Jo caught a bad cold and had to stay in bed, but Beth faithfully did all her work and sometimes her sisters. Beth visited the Hummels everyday like their mother told them. Beth came home that evening sad. Miss.Hummels baby died because of scarlet fever. Beth had caught from Miss.Hummels baby. She was very sick and everybody gave the March family gifts and food, the doctor came twice a day, and everyone visited them. One day they had to telagrph their mother, but Beth started to get better when their mother came. In December, on Cristmas the March girls father comes home and there is a happy family reunion. In the end of the book Mr.Brooke and Meg get engaged.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>12/1/2017<br>This book is about a girl called Anne. Anne is adopted by Mathew and Marrila Cuthbert. Anne has many chores. She tends to daydream while doing her chores though. When Rachyel Lynde (Marilla's friend) comes over she is mean to Anne and Anne is mean nd she back. Anne apologizes to Mrs.Lynde. The next day Anne wears a black and white checkered dress to Sunday school, but Anne thinks it is plain so she puts buttercups on her hat. Anne has to apologize to Marilla for doing that because people thought that Marilla sends her to school like that. Anne also makes a new friend, Diana Barry. Anne is going to a Sunday school picnic, but when Marilla can't find her brooch she thinks Anne is behind it and she does not want Anne to go to the picnic. Marilla finds her brooch on her shawl and she knows that Anne didn't do it so she lets her go to the picnic. Anne went to start school. She got in trouble because she hit a boy named Gilbert over the head with a blackboard because he teased her about her hair. Anne also got in trouble because Anne was late to come in from recess. She told Marilla she would never go to school again. One she and Diana have a picnic, but Diana does not feel well because she drank current wine instead of respberry cordial. Diana's mother doesn't let her play with Anne any more. When all the adults are away Diana's little sister falls ill and Anne saves her. Anne can play with Diana again. When the new minister and his wife Mrs.Allan comes over for tea Anne makes a cake for her, but she doesn't use the proper flavoring. Mrs.Allan says its okay, and she and became very good friends. One day when the Anne and her friends were playing Anne got hurt and spraind her ankle, but she wasn't hurt anywhere else and everyone was extra nice to her. After a few weeks Anne tried to dye her hair black, but instead she died it green. The only solution was to cut her hair. Anne's new teacher formed a class of very smart kids to study to enter to queen's. Anne enter's Queens after passing the exams! When she went to Queen's she won the Avery for doing so well. The Avery pays to go to Redmont college. At the awards ceremony Marilla and Mathew look on proudly. A few days after the Ceromony when Anne was to home Mathew died of shock. The shock was that the bank Mathew and Marilla's money was in failed and the Cuthberts lost all their money. Anne decided to she was not going to college and she would teach near Green Gable to help Marilla.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Tuck, Mae, Jesse, and Miles are the Tuck family. They feel they are doomed with eternal life after they drink from a magic spring. The Tucks try to live as comfortably as they can. When a girl called Winnie finds out about their secret after running away from her home, the Tucks take Winnie to their home. The Tucks try to make Winnie understand how living forever isn't as pleasant as it seems. Winnie likes the Tucks. She thinks they are friendly and kind. Complacations arise when Winnie is followed by a stranger. The starnger goes back to Winne's home and tells her worried parents that he knows where she is, but in return they have to give him the woods where the magic eternal life spring is. The stranger than goes back to the tuck house and knocks on the door. He tells them he knows about the eternal life spring and that Winnie's parents gave him the woods where the spring is for Winnie's safe return. He tells them that he is going to sell the water from the spring and get rich. He also tells them that he is going to use Winnie for demonstrations to prove the eternal life spring was real, but Mae doesn't let that happen. She didn't want the secret out and she didn't want Winnie to drink from the spring so she killed the stranger. The treegap constable comes just in time to see it all. He arrests Mae and takes&nbsp;Winnie back to her parents. That night Jesse sneaks into Winnie's room and tells her that he and Miles could use her help breaking Ma out of jail.</div>]]></description>
