The wording was beautifully well done, it was easily one of the best books I have read in my life. The characters each had a unique personality, from strong leader to abusive to shabby. The conclusion is the only part of the part that had not lived up to expectation. Leah and her companions make it to California and encounter Hiram. Of course, he some how knew where they would show up. Hiram wants to bring Leah back but everyone raises their guns and he just backs up. With how Hiram had been developed to be, we as the reader expected him to show up in some ally and take her then and have to wait for her companions to show up.
