This is an app that is mirrored off of the game Telephone. Players are given a common phrase. Next another player adds a picture that describes that phrase. This app is free and is great for teaching about the sun and it's properties. It would be great for mid-upper elementary and also middle school.

I used this app in a 7th grade classroom when the students were studying the sun. It includes several hands on activities, pictures and images, as well as live pictures from NASA of the sun for observation. It really brings to life the sun and it's characteristics, such as sunspots and solar flares, rather than having students read about it from a page in their book.

This app is $2.99 but allows you to keep your lesson plans organized in this easy to use lesson plan layout. I learn better by using flash cards, and study blue is something that I have used all throughout college. You can create your own flash cards, browse other groups of flash cards that have already been made, and join a class. Also, when studying, you can choose various methods of studying the flash cards you have made through regular flash cars style (and you can click whether you got it right or wrong), fill in the blank, review sheet, etc. This would be a great way for students to study outside of the classroom.

I would use this in the classroom to incorporate music and learning the basic piano keys. This app is for kids 9-11 learning multiplication. It is a fun little story game where the player must build bridges to get to the castle. When you build a bridge you must use wood plank to fill the required dimensions (3 X 5).
