As I progress through each course, I am gaining a better understanding of how the healthcare system works to provide complete patient care. I am rediscovering how to apply concepts and theories in new ways and have developed a newfound appreciation for healthcare leaders. Prior to starting the OTD program, my knowledge of upper management's role in healthcare operations was limited and biased. However, after completing the OT780 course, I have gained a more comprehensive view. I now realize that managing and supervising others in a healthcare setting involves dealing with numerous factors that I was previously unaware of.

Whenever I come across challenges, I remind myself that I cannot solve everything all at once, but I can work on one issue at a time. The education I am receiving is equipping me with valuable skills to improve my problem-solving abilities.

I have also realized that I am not done learning and do not want to be finished with the OTD program.
