This event is important to U.S. history because it brought attention to the fact that the government is willing to use force against workers, and it brought on labor unions and how they were gaining power.

I also find it interesting what they had to go through and what they did to get what they wanted. This movement is important to U.S. history because this is why women are able to vote today and brought forward the fight for other rights and issues.

This event is important to U.S. history because it helped reshape domestic and foreign policies and brought to light changes that needed to be made.
