Initiative versus guilt

This stage is when a child usually takes the initiative to learn or try something new. In his child hood one of the first task he remember trying to learn was to tie his own shoes. He stated that his Dad bought a big wooden shoe for him to practice on. This shows that his Dad gave him the support to help him to learn this skill.

industry versus inferiority

Stated the only thing he felt like he had to learn culturally was cooking. In black culture there are meals and survival instincts of learning certain meal that children learn during puberty usually.
