         <description><![CDATA[<div>1. Differentiating student practice with answering questions from the whole text vs part of the text.&nbsp;<br>2. This informs our work for pacing and the possibility of adding additional cycles of exposure/practice. (ie. text structure, main idea)&nbsp;<br>3. Skills to teach: Differentiating between a topic vs a main idea.&nbsp;<br>4. think alouds of examples AND nonexamples, not just examples.&nbsp;<br>5. Expose students to these skills in multiple choice formats within the units vs waiting until the test prep units.&nbsp;<br>6. Leaning on additional interventions within the unit.&nbsp;<br>7. Unit planning: We are intentionally planning for all these implications upfront so we are proactive instead of reactive.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The assessment is 4 pages long. There are two, short passages. Five to six paragraphs for each passage are present. Five questions for each passage are provided. All questions are selected response (multiple choice). The terminology BEST and MOST LIKELY were used in question stems. This language was bolded and typed using all uppercase letters. The alignment between the questions and the standards are evident.</div>]]></description>
