In the early 1900's Huddie Ledbetter(1888- 1949) under the name Walter Boyd is sent to prison with a 30 year sentence, he is subjugated to whippings and hard labor, he sung his way to freedom and went on to be a famous recording artist who told the stories of the prisons injustice.

It reminds me of power to heal because black people had trouble with their health, too (like everyone else), and since they weren't even granted equal rights how could they go to the hospital to seek care. The lady in the story knew she was going to die. A handful of black people, when they got sick, mostly died because they were denied healthcare. They didn't have any rights, not even to save their life.

This relates to freedom because the people in the Mandela Catalouge are stuck in an alternate reality and are forced to be there, just like in the Briefcase were the main character is subjected to a type of slavery.

He is a slave wishing for change, as while some dominates become the leader of their faction, however, many branded or dominants are slaves themselves. 1) I chose this game, Final Fantasy XVI, because it shows inequality between people and domains, or branded people with special powers given to them by their eikon. They are viewed as less, which is similar to how white people view black people. Both were beaten, abused, and killed. Both wanted freedom for their race of people.

N.W.A. didn't agree with the actions of the police in the 1980's towards black people. So Ice cube(a member of N.W.A.) wrote the song "F*** tha Police" in responce to the police. Just like Gandhi who doesn't agree with governmental desicions.

Both N.W.A. and Gandhi feel trapped in their own world because they are the lower class to the upper class.
