         <description><![CDATA[<div>DISEASES OF AFFLUENCE<br>The population of HICs usually consist of workers within the tertiary sector. Many of which don't get significant amounts of exercise. This, combined with a bad diet and consistent consumption of alcohol, causes type 2 diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol &amp; blood pressure etc. The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released a report in 2015 indicating that more than 100 million Americans have diabetes or pre-diabetes. Diabetes was the seventh leading cause of death in United States in 2015.</div>]]></description>
