Women are controlled by a male guardian their whole life. They are restricted from choosing their life decisions such as careers and spouses, lots of other decisions that every human being should be able to make for themselves has been taken away. Women are restricted and trapped life animals in cages; they need consent to do basically anything and I’m sure living a life like this is not only unfair but mentally and emotionally draining.Women have no control over who they want to be and what they want to do. When they decide to advocate for themselves they attempted many things but one partially successful trend was set by using twitter. Many women are still property of certain men and they are too afraid to share their thoughts. They are unable to vote because the men above them do not allow them to. women are now allowed to vote but many are restricted. Women in Saudi Arabia have more rights than in the past but even though the opportunities are available, doesn't mean they are able to take advantage of them.

This political cartoon shows how even though the women were granted permission to vote, there are still many set backs. As shown in the cartoon, they are frequently unable to drive. Another example, some men won;t allow their women to even leave the house, because they are in full control.
