It’s where the Russian president works.</p><p><strong>St. Basil’s Cathedral:</strong><br>The colorful church in Moscow with onion-shaped domes that look like candy!</p><p><strong>Lake Baikal:</strong><br>The deepest and oldest lake in the world. It has very clear, cold water and is home to a special fish called the “Baikal seal.”</p><p><strong>Mount Elbrus:</strong><br>The highest mountain in Russia, covered in snow all year long.</p>]]></description>

Aleksandr Golovin</strong><br>⚽ A professional football player who plays for the Russian national team. Many people in Russia cheer for him!</p><p><strong>4. Yuri Gagarin</strong><br>🚀 The first person ever to travel into space in 1961. Russians are very proud of him.</p><p><strong>5. Ivan Pavlov</strong><br>🐶 A scientist who studied how animals learn. He’s famous for his “Pavlov’s dog” experiment.</p><p><strong>6. Dmitri Mendeleev</strong><br>🔬 Dmitri Mendeleev was a famous scientist from Russia. He was born in 1834 and loved studying chemistry. Mendeleev was a teacher and loved helping people learn chemistry. </p><p>Mendeleev is best known for creating the <strong>Periodic Table of Elements</strong>, which is a chart that shows all the different elements that make up everything around us. He wrote many Science books. </p>]]></description>
