"Forty days you tempted me, forty days you tested me, I would not give in, I won't stop fighting." I like this song because it depicts one of the themes of Lent. It tells of the determination and sacrifice during the Lenten season, and the weeks hoping for Easter to arrive. The line I chose encourages us to continue giving our all in our relationship with God, even when we lose hope.

During Ordinary Time we don't have a bunch of major holidays and it can be difficult to stay with God when we go long amounts of time between holidays like Christmas and Easter. We need God to open our eyes so we can stay focused on him and not get distracted.
