There was an opening in the center for the arm and this was gathered and bound into a band. <br><strong><mark>Hats <br></mark></strong>Large romantic wide hats, ornately trimmed with feathers, loops of ribbons and bows complemented the wide shoulder lines of the 1830s.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><mark>Families</mark></strong><mark> </mark>were larger in the 19th century because people tried to have as many children as possible, knowing that not all of them would survive. Men were in charge of the household and the family was expected to obey the husband. All property belonged to the husband, even money made by the husband’s wife.<br><mark>sanitation <br></mark>Streets were unsanitary, with garbage and waste often left everywhere.<br><mark>Labor </mark><br>Over time, people began working in factories more often than working in their own homes, with the textile industry being the first one to move the majority of jobs into factories.</div>]]></description>

(why because The War of 1812 began as a result of American rights being infringed upon by the British. Though there was no clear victor, Americans felt a sudden burst of nationalism that lead to the American Romantic Period.)<br><br>.In response to the growing influence and threat of Napoleon, the British, Dutch, and German forces ambushed Napoleon at Waterloo and dealt him a crushing defeat.<br><br>·       1805-1815 Napoleonic wars lead to France’s conquest of most Europe (why because The French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars represented continuity in European diplomacy from the eighteenth to the nineteenth century, but witnessed considerable change in the way that war was waged.
