    Wieso 3V? Die meisten LEDs funktionieren bei 3V (mit Alkali-Mangan-Zellen) wunderbar, auch Kurzschlüsse sind hier kein übermäßiges Drama. 1,5V sind zu wenig, alles darüber bräuchte einen entsprechenden Vorwiderstand.

    • 10 Krokoklemmen, 
    • 1-2  Glühbirnchen mit Fassung, 
    • 3 LEDs und  
    • selber gemachte 3V Batterie, 
    zusätzlich: RGB LEDs für die Schnellen

    Im Sitzkreis  „ErfinderInnenregeln“ erklären, Unterschied Batterie und Zelle erklären (eine Zelle ist ein Galvanisches Element mit bestimmter Spannung, die von der Chemie im Inneren der Zelle abhängt, z.b.: Alkali/Mangan-Zelle 1,5V. Eine Batterie addiert die Spannung einzelner Zellen zb: 3x 1,5V für 4,5V-Batterie) – Umgangssprachlich nennt man beides Batterie.

    Das Material (Glühbirnchen, Batterie, Krokoklemmen, LEDs) kurz durch besprechen, daran erinnern, dass Kurzschlüsse keine gute Idee sind; dann an die Teams das Material auf den Tabletts ausgeben. 

    1.       Aufgabe: Bringe das Glühbirnchen zum Leuchten.
    2.       Aufgabe: Bringe die LED zum Leuchten  (LEDs haben im Unterschied zum Glühbirnchen eine Einbaurichtung: Der kürzere Fuß soll zum Minuspol der Batterie. Das dürfen die Kinder ruhig selbst herausfinden.) Dann kurzes Besprechen der Erfolge im Sitzkreis – Nachfragen, wie die LED angeschlossen werden muss.
    3.       Aufgabe: Bringe mehrere Dinge gleichzeitig zum Leuchten.
    4.       Besprechen: Wie habt ihr das geschafft –Stromkreise an die Tafel oder auf Post-it zeichnen lassen– parallele Schaltung (serielle Schaltung klappt nur mit mehr Volt).
