I would call this chapter The New Journey. In this letter from R. Walton to his sister Mrs. Saville he mentions his failures and he says "I am about to proceed on a long and difficult voyage..." (Shelley 11). In the letter he sounds like he has high hopes on what he is setting out to do. He states "I am required not only to raise the spirits of others, but sometimes to sustain my own, when theirs are falling." (Shelley 11) He states "My intention is to hire a ship there..."(Shelley 11) he is telling his sister about his plans on how he will set up the voyage and this is why i chose the title The New Journey.

He states " I shall commit my thoughts to paper, it is true; but that is a poor medium for the communication of feeling." (Shelley 12). In this letter he is also assembling his crew but his main concern is not having a friend. He also mentions not having someone to amend his plans.

The reason this chapter gained this title is because Frankenstein knows that his monster has killed two family members, but Justine pleads innocence seeking salvation.

The title I chose for this chapter is Fallen Into Monstrous Trouble. I chose this title because Victor is accused of a crime he did not commit, but his creation did! "... but when the mark of the fingers was mentioned, I remembered the murder of my brother and felt myself extremely agitated" (Shelly 162).

The title I give this chapter is Looming Secrets. I decided this title would be good for this chapter considering Victor is still trying to keep his creation a secret to Elizabeth. "I have one secret, Elizabeth, a dreadful one..." (Shelly 175).

The title I give this chapter is The Creation of Dread. I gave the chapter this title because through all of the grief Victor has suffered, he truly dreads and regrets making this monster of his. "...prayed that i might have him within my grasp to wreak a great and signal revenge on his cursed head" (Shelly 184).

The title I give this chapter is Revenge Seeker for Life. I say this because Victor desperately seeks to find his monster to condemn him for all that he has done. "My first labour was to gain some clue by which i might trace the steps of my fiendish enemy" (Shelly 186).
