We planned what we could do in December.

Our students brought the waste they had collected at home for a few days. We went to the garden together. We poured it under our trees in the garden. We made fertilizer for our trees.

I created an e-Twinning board in our classroom to inform our students and parents. I gave information about our project and the activities we did on the board.

I gave my students information about safe internet. We watched a video about this subject and I showed pictures. I created a secure internet dashboard in our school.

My students were very happy to meet other children.

We made food and water bowls from recycled waste materials. We showed it to other students and teachers in our school. We put food and water in the containers we made. We placed it around our school.

We watched a video about e-security with the children, chatted about it and prepared an e-security board,

The children, together with their families, prepared food and water bowls for birds and cats from materials they did not use at home. They explained how they prepared these bowls in class. Afterwards, we all left these bowls in suitable places in our school garden.

I informed the children about compost in advance. We talked about what it is made of, how it is made and what it is used for. With the support of their families, the children collected organic food waste for compost at home for a few days. We buried this organic waste under the trees and plants in our school garden.
