      <description>As vice president of telemedicine and image management with the medical equipment company Sonomed Escalon, Shae Kennedy Reber manages more than 300 client accounts and a team of more than 25 professionals who range from physicians and clinical staff members to information technology experts. This team operates under Shae Kennedy Reber’s leadership to implement PACS (picture archiving and communication systems) and other telemedicine networks.

Before joining Sonomed Escalon in 2017, Ms. Reber spent over a decade as director of telemedicine with Wills Eye Hospital, a nonprofit eye clinic and medical center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Earlier in her career, she conducted clinical ophthalmology research as a contracted affiliate of both Othera Pharmaceutical and the Occulogix/Medfocus Corporation.

She studied biotechnology at Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, and holds accreditation as both a clinical operations assistant and a clinical research associate. She is also a certified ophthalmic photographer and fully compliant through HIPAA.</description>
