In my life, academics have been a major cause of stress and anxiety. I worry a lot about how my grades determine my future in all aspects of my life.

In general, school can be pretty stressful, even when assignments aren’t exactly complicated or difficult to complete. I always feel immense anxiety when I’m in a school setting if I’m not around my loved ones, so it can be really tough for me to get through the day. In regards to my academic future, though I have good grades, I’m still very worried about my future and getting into good colleges, and though I know I shouldn’t be worried I still am. My parents put a lot of pressure on me to do well in school, which causes me to worry about what my parents will think if I get even a 89%.

Parents give alot of pressure to me. A percentage below a 90% is not good for a test or quiz. Another pressure would be how these grades or standardized test can influence your future.

In my life, juggling school and extra curricular activities is very stressful especially with managing time so that there is still time do things that I personally want to do and get good grades at the same time.

Sometimes I can't sleep at night thinking about what I want to do in the future. It feels like I'll be an absolute failure if I can't end up at a 'good' college, but it's hard to figure out what I want for myself.

Balancing school work and extracurriculars can be incredibly time consuming and barely leaves any time remaining to have a life outside of it. If I spend one day of the weekend hanging out with my friends I will have to spend the other endlessly laboring over my Chromebook. The sheer amount of homework is incredibly overwhelming and in no way beneficial to students.
