Mr.Cubitt finds many "Dancing Men" pictures around his home.<br>2.Mrs. Cubitt is distressed by the "Dancing Men" images<br>3.Holmes &amp; Watson are too late, Mr. Cubitt is shot dead in the chest, and Mrs. Cubitt is critically injured <br>4.There is a suspected 3rd shooter that fired a third shot<br>5.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Title: Tic-Tocq, The great French Detective<br>Author: O. Henry<br>Sub-Genre:Private Detective, and Humor<br>Detectives:Tic Tocq<br>Plot Highlights:<br>1. Tic Tocq is hired to help find a prominent Populist Candidate's socks in room 76 of the hotel he is staying at<br>2.Tic Tocq goes to a party nearby and finds the thief of the candidate's socks,Herr Professor Ludvig Von Bum, and catches him and retrieves the socks from him.<br>2.Tic Tocq finds the Socks of the candidate, and reveals it to the populists and the Democrats.<br>3. Tic Tocq then tracks down a killer  known as "The Gray Wolf"<br>4.Tic Tocq disguises himself as The count Carnaignole and catches The Gray Wolf in the act of stealing the socks and murdering Marie Cusheau<br>Did it follow rules of fair play?: Yes, Tic Tocq did follow rules of fair play and didn't break any of them in the story<br>Likes &amp; Dislikes: The entire story was very Noir-ish in nature and I liked that, but I didn't like the sudden transition from the socks case to suddenly going after a killer of a person between chapters 2 &amp; 3.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Reading Log-Marsden Manor-Poirot</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Title: Marsden Manor<br>Author: Agatha Christie<br>Sub-Genre: Private detectives/investigators<br>Detectives: Poirot &amp; Hastings<br>Plot Highlights:<br>1. Poirot is asked by a friend, who is a director at Northern Union, and says that a professor named Mr. Maltravers has died of a suspected brain hemorrhage<br>2. There were rumors that Mr. Maltravers was in a difficult financial position prior to his death and suggests that he paid the insurance premiums and committed suicide for the benefit of his beautiful young wife.<br>3. After arriving at the manor, Poirot interviews a gardener by the name of Mr. Black, who has pointed out that the Rook Rifle that has been discovered by Poirot is similar to a case in East Africa where an African Farmer committed suicide with a Rook Rifle.<br>4. Mrs. Maltravers thinks that she saw her husband outside the manor talking with a maid when suddenly the lights go out. So Mrs. Maltravers goes to grab Poirot's hands with "bloodied" hands.<br>5. "Mr. Maltravers" was a hired impersonator who as Mrs. Maltravers grabbed Poirot's hands, he reveals that it's fake blood.<br>6. Mrs. Maltravers is shocked and terrified at the discovery and confessed to the detectives.<br>Did it follow rules of fair play?: Yes, the story has correctly followed the rules of fair play<br>Likes/dislikes: I really liked the sudden twist at the end of the story when the impersonator reveals the fake blood on Mrs. Maltravers' hands.<br>I have no Dislikes for this story.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Reading Log- Mrs. Marple tells a Story</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Title: Mrs. Marple Tells a Story<br>Author: Agatha Christie<br>Sub-Genre: Consulting detective/Private investigator<br>Detectives: Miss Marple<br>Plot Highlights:<br>1. Miss Marple is asked for help by an old friend of her Solicitor, Mr. Rhodes, who is about to be indicted for his wife's murder.<br>2. His Wife died by stabbing to the heart in a hotel room, however Mr. Rhodes swears that he has not killed her and is innocent.<br>3. Mr. Rhodes is said that he has been suffering from Strain, some type of skin disease, around the time of his wife's death.<br>4. Miss Marple uses her skills of deducing and solving to find out who killed Mr. Rhodes' wife.<br>5. Miss Marple finds out that the killer is a woman who has longed for vengeance against Mrs. Rhodes for the death of her young daughter.<br>6. The woman has the false name of Mrs. Carruthers, who's in her 40's, dropped her g's (which Miss. Marple claims is why she played the part of a chambermaid, and murdered Mrs. Rhodes with her stiletto dagger.<br>Did it follow rules of Fair play?: Yes, the story follows all of the rules for fair play.<br>Likes/dislikes: I liked how Miss. Marple used her clever skills to easily figure out how Mrs. Rhodes died and who killed her.<br>I don't have any dislikes for this story.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Reading Log-Arson Plus by Hammett</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Title: Arson Plus<br>Author: Dashiell Hammett<br>Sub-genre: Hard-boiled Detective/Noir<br>Plot Highlights:<br>1. The Narrator, an unnamed detective, is with Jim Tarr, the sheriff of Sacramento County, discussing about an Arson Case when another sheriff &amp; two of his deputies report on another Arson case of similar causes.<br>2. They suspect That the cases may be linked together<br>3. Then the detective is called down at the scene of the second Arson case to interview the Servant of Mr. Thornburgh and the servants wife.<br>4. The servant describes that at some point in the night,he woke up to their bedroom completely engulfed of smoke, and his wife being choked-up in the smoke beside him<br>5. They managed to get out of the house, but as they looked back, they saw Mr. Thornburgh getting burned alive in the flames before the roof of the house collapses on him.<br>6. After the interview, the detective then asks the Servant if Mr. Thornburgh has any form of gasoline product for either vehicles or for clothing cleaning.<br>7. Mr. Handerson is then starting to become more suspicious because the detective interviews a man down the street named Billy Luce, and matched the physical description of Mr. Handerson.<br>8. The detective linked up clues with the Coonses &amp; Mrs. Trowbridge.<br>9. But then the detective looks at the cases and, in conclusion, says that The Continental OP will find nothing that burns more hotter than greed.<br>Did it follow rules of fair play?: Yes, the story followed the rules of fair play and didn't break any of them.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Reading Log-Lady Molly of Scotland Yard</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Title: Lady Molly of Scotland Yard<br>Author: Baroness Orczy<br>Sub-genre: Police Procedural<br>Detectives: Lady Molly &amp; her assistant (unnamed)<br>Plot highlights:<br>1. A woman, Mary Nicholls, is found murdered at Ash Court, a mansion in the village of Ninescore.<br>2. Mary lived with her sister Susan, opposite Ash court<br>3. Both sisters frequently fought with each other over Lionel Lydgate, who had been linked to Mary,even though he was already engaged with someone else.<br>4. Lady Molly &amp; her assistant head to Ninescore, who are filled in by Inspector Meisures, who finds a document with dates that Mr. Lydgate visits Mary on.<br>5. Lady Molly writes a couple of telegrams and insists on sending them from Canterbury. They then stay overnight and the next morning Lady Molly points out a bogus article that states that Mary Nicholls' Baby is dying.<br>6. The next thing that comes is a telegram received shortly after, that states that Mary has been arrested.<br>7. Lady Molly talks to a distraught woman who has been accused for Murder, and tells her She's going to be charged for the murder of Susan.<br>8. Then Lady Molly tells her that her baby is going to be sent to a workhouse, and she eventually confesses it all.<br>9. The distraught woman reveals that, The baby's father, Lord Edbrooke, who's taken up Lionel's identity to meet Mary, Susan catches wind of this and starts Blackmailing him without Mary's knowledge.<br>10. Arranging a meeting with him,Susan puts on Mary's clothes to meet him, which ends up being her fate. Mary is then persuaded to leave Ninescore.<br>Does it follow rules of Fair Play?: Yes, the story follows rules of Fair Play, and doesn't break any.    </div>]]></description>

         <title>Reading Log-The Secret Garden,Father Brown</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Title: The Secret Garden<br>Author: G.K Chesterton<br>Sub-Genre: Amateur Detective<br>Detective: Father Brown<br>Plot Highlights:<br>1. Valentin arranges a party at his estate, where a garden is surrounded by a high wall and No entrance apart from going through the house.<br>2. It's soon made clear that O'Brien wants to Lavish his attentions on  Lady Margaret, but Lord Galloway distrusts him and wishes to keep the couple apart.<br>3. Galloway sees O'Brien enter the house from the garden, and when Galloway enters the garden, he trips over a dead body in the garden.<br>4. The rest of the guests then suspect that Commander O'Brien is responsible in killing the victim with his Calvary Sabre, however he hasn't had it with him at the time of the victim's murder.<br>5. Ivan, Valentin's manservant, appears with the bloodstained Sabre, which he's found in a bush in the road outside the house.<br>6. However, there was no trace of Julius Brayne, who appears to have left early,taking his coat and hat.<br>7. Suspicion has then fallen on Mr. Brayne, although No-one knows who the victim in the garden is.<br>8. The next day, Dr. Simon outlines to O'Brien the five "colossal difficulties" of the case: How the victim got in, how the killer got out, why a Sabre was used when a pocket knife would have done the job, why the victim did not cry out when the killer approached, and why were there cuts on the body  that must have been made after the head was cut off.<br>9. Father Brown finds a second severed head in the reeds next to the nearby River Seine. Father Brown identifies it as being that of Julius Brayne. If Brayne committed the first murder using the cavalry sabre, he certainly could not be responsible for the second.<br>10. Ivan then reveals that the first victim is identified is Arnold Brecker, a German Criminal who has a twin brother,Louis.<br>11. The body at the garden is Mr. Brayne's and the head was that of Louis Brecker.<br>12. The person that committed the crime, is Aristide Valentin, who upon confrontation kills himself with an overdose of pills.<br>13. Father Brown had concluded that Valentin's motive had been to rid the world of a man who was about to make a huge donation to the Catholic Church, whereas Valentin is an Atheist</div>]]></description>
