Personally, I believe that what it means to be a hero is to be someone who is selfless and does things not only for themselves but for the greater good. It does not have to be some big adventure or a massive task, but sometimes selfless achievements can change someone else's world. According to my definition, I don't believe it is difficult to be a hero. Heroes come in all shapes and sizes, and even doing simple things like volunteering is still for the better of others, and fits my definition. I personally believe there are still heroes today- people who risk their lives for others like those in the army, or people who work to help those in need like volunteers are people who are kind enough to lend their heart out for other people.

To be a hero is to go on a journey that changes you as a person but that journey repeats many times in a normal everyday person. Not physically fighting a dragon but the problems and struggles could be just as scary and challenging. Being a hero is usually for the greater good of the people in most stories but sometimes it can even be for yourself.

A hero is someone who goes through hardships for the sake of helping others. They solve a problem that a certain group of people may be facing and devote themselves to providing solutions for specific struggles. They need to display courage, moral integrity, and determination. The intention of the person must be genuine, and not provide some sort of benefit to them such as praise or material rewards. According to my definition, being a hero could be difficult because of the need for the will to want to make positive impacts on peoples' lives. However, I believe that heroes can still be found today because there are many humans who are willing to sacrifice their wellbeing to help out without expecting something in return.

According to this definition, it would be difficult to be a hero because it can be human nature to want things only for yourself. Also, doing this you're not comfortable doing and things that are out of the norm can be challenging. Heroes do exist today. Today, it is not difficult to be a hero, especially if you do have something to lose. It might be a difficult moral decision, but physically, anyone can easily do heroic acts.

The journey that the main character goes on, the people that he or she meets, the enemies that they face are all things that play a large role in the making of a hero. Heroes are also human which means they experience positive emotions like love and joy but also experience negative emotions/feelings pain, anger, fear, etc. What makes them the heroes they are is the ability to embrace those feelings and overcome them which is something that can make being a hero hard. They have to face their fears, everyday and they have to win, sometimes at their own expense, since the lives of everyone they care about depend on them. They would have to make tough decisions and need to be put in uncomfortable positions in order to protect their loved ones.

I believe a hero would be just someone that solves a problem. A problem that might affect one's morning, day, or even life. Most of the time the heroes we typical call "heroes" are ones that solves a problem that affect multiple people, but a person could be a hero, personally for one person. Honestly, in my opinion, it wouldn't be that difficult to be a hero, it is just based on how much you believe you would have to do to consider yourself one in the eyes of yourself and other people/another person. I believe heroes do exist today, it's just not on the scale what is in a story.

A hero does not go through this journey just for their own benefit. A hero's journey is extremely difficult in my opinion. For example, I think the front line workers working to help patients with COVID-19 are heroes because they are showing immense selflessness by putting others before their own lives, and they have courage to be putting their lives at risk everyday. According to my definition I do think it is hard to be a hero. There are different decrees of "being a hero" but challenges are called challenges for a reason and to overcome the problem you need to show selflessness and courage.

You can also be your own hero knowing when to put yourself first so you can intern be more capable of putting others first.

A hero is a person is somebody who doesn't turn away from their goal, and effortlessly pursues it to better themselves and those around them. Heroes come in all shapes and forms, sometimes they aren't even human. On March 26th, I heard the news headline of a dog who saved a boy from drowning in a creek. The dog risked their life in order to save their owner, putting their life aside, and risking it, to save someone from a dangerous situation. However, one does not need to do something that extreme to be a hero. I believe simply bettering yourself as a person, matches the criteria of being a hero. As long as you are a selfless individual who is willing to help others in need, and put your self interests aside for others, you are a hero. For example, my father may have no saved somebody from drowning like the dog mentioned above, but I admire him because he came to this country with almost nothing in his pocket, was able to create a life, and a family for himself, and I find that admirable.

From my definition, it is extremely difficult to become a hero as everyone has their own sense of judgement and it is almost impossible to become unbiased during any situation. The character would have to go through pain-staking events in order to alter one's mind to become more educated morally and mentally. I think that heroes still exist today. There are many people who have gone through loss during their own journeys and used it to help others during their own journeys.

A hero is someone who does good things without being asked or persuaded to do them. A hero has a strong sense of natural goodness that they act upon. Heroic deeds can be small, such as helping a blind person cross the road or giving money to the homeless. Anyone can be a hero, if they are willing to act upon their good ideas.

I think that a hero is someone who goes on a journey outside of their normal lives where they work hard to achieve a goal. I think it is very difficult to be a hero. A hero must break their routine and put in a lot of hard work in their journey. This proves to be difficult for nearly anywhere. I think heroes exist today. They may not save cities or have superpowers, but they still go on journeys to achieve goals.
