During this time, a lot of teens my age were more into street wear type of dressing and, i really did like the style, so I started investing more in graphic tees, baggy jeans, oversized sweaters, sweats and Jordan shoes. How this item conveyed my membership in a group at that time was because I actually did like the style and how it looked on me because i felt very comfortable in those clothes and wearing them made me less insecure of my body. I feel like me changing my style wasn't for belonging it was just more to find what makes me comfortable and at the same look cute and, street wear was just that style. We live in a world of difficult times and hard majors. Some people would never understand what it feels like going to sleep without having anything to eat while some people will have a lot to the point where the throw some away. How Barbara and Ehrenreich's history relates to the current condition is, some people have a difficult time understanding what life for the poor looks like while most people in the middle class enjoy health insurance, paid vacations and sick leaves and they will never be able to understand what it feels like being poor because they already have it all for themselves. How i have seen this discussion play out in my life is, I wouldn't say am from a wealthy family but, i am happy that my parents work hard every day to make sure that my siblings and I always have something to eat and get whatever they can offer to us. How Robin's discussion of rationalization relates to the current history is, MacDonalds wasn't always that wealthy and they pay wasn't always that high but due to design training, centralized planning, supervised suppliers and automated machinery, MacDonalds has being spectacular. How Wishard discussion of how they world has changed relates to current situation is, in this generation a lot of things have changed as compared to the pass ages for example in politics. Before women were not allowed to vote and were only allowed to stay at home, take care of the kids and cook for their husbands. But, in this generation, a lot of women are being allowed to vote, and even run for president or vice president and are able to do whatever jobs the desire to do. How I have seen this discussion play in life my is in technology/entertainment. What am trying to say is technology back then was way more different as compared to the technology now like they were no smart phones, and people barely even had tv's in their homes. I personally I feel like I get so distracted with my phone to the point were sometimes I just sit and think to myself like what life would have been for me if I lived in the 90's. I, mean I feel like I would have gotten used to it but still like it's just going to be boring. How this discussion relates to other things i have learned is, technology is making such a big impact in this generation right now for example, the use of electricity to charge cars which helps you save money on gas, computers and internet make education faster and easier, and technology has had huge impact on health care industries. How this corporation serves as teaching consumers specific lessons about their lives is, the corporation understands the fact that their products are pricey so they made a policy were if you want to upgrade your phone, you don't have to buy a new one instead you could just exchange the phone, add up some money and get the new one you would like to get. Some of these lessons may be considered ideological because some people do not like iPhones because of how pricey and complicated they are to use.
