I want to be a tattoo artist when I'm older. I find it so incredibly amazing that the tattoo artists's work will stay on someone's body forever. Not only that but I enjoy practicing tattoos on people, I've drawn dragons on arms, dragons on backs, flowers on chests and so on. It is so relaxing sitting there doing art for 4 or 5 hours, I find it almost therapeutic. I also enjoy the fact that you talk to and meet so many people, and everyone is different and with a different story. I found that the average pay for a tattoo artist is $32,578, which is so much more than I expected. I will not need a degree to become a tattoo artist but I will need to complete an apprenticeship or tattoo course, and obtain a tattoo, piercing and electrolysis license to work in the industry full-time.

2. Spin instructor
I believe that when I was going through my dark period, spinning saved me and pulled me out of it. It seemed to lift me up and help me. Despite feeling completely drained, exhausted and basically on the brink of death at the end of each session, I want to be an instructor because it really helped get my happiness and confidence back, and I want to be able to help others who may have gone through the same thing as me. Now I spin roughly 3-5 times a week at XYZ and it is the happiest and most exciting moment of my day. I am essentially best friends with the instructors,  which makes each class even better. I have made countless friends at XYZ, and if it brings me joy now I can only imagine how much fun it will be as an instructor. I also enjoy keeping fit and staying physically healthy, and exercising is fun. Spinning Instructors would make around £20 per hour so I would have to work as something else along side this. I am required to have a teaching qualification for 1 year, however I want to study art in uni and therefore I'm not sure if I can find a spin studio that allows me to join despite not having a university education. Since I want a career in art, I will constantly be surrounded by people with different ideas, suggestions and visions and I must be able to accept all of these ideas and listen to them. I must also learn to accept criticism, as in the art world not everyone will be a fan of  my art and will give me either constructive or negative feedback, and I should be prepared to take it all in. It was very eye opening and exciting and this is where the university process really started. At the moment I have an instagram art account which could be a good start to helping me get jobs. For university these jobs will also be good, however it would be good if I worked with all sorts of art forms and jobs, even though I know I don't like them.
