Romeo starts off from heartbroken to in love and then depressed, it makes him very confused and difficult to handle in his life. The emotions for Romeo changed in a big way and impacted his life in so many different areas. It made him break rules with his parents and rules of Verona. It also leads to the greatest consequence of all and that is death. His emotions made him question himself the mixture of love and depression got to him.
