He wants to to become a painter but does not have money for formal training. Despite being ridiculed he keeps on painting and learning. Finally at the end of his life his talent is recognized, but by then it is too late and the wonderful talent is lost to the world.

Wonderful book about finding friendship when you least expect.

Being a guitarist takes practice, being a great guitarist takes a lot of practice, determination and focus. Today's guitarists can use YouTube to help them with lessons, but when Jimmy Hendrix was growing up there was no internet. The only way he could fulfill his dream of becoming the greatest player ever know was to learn on his own and practice using a broom stick.
Must have book when you have an artist in the class or at home.

Every fall the Great White sharks visit the island to feast on the seals. Sharks are vital part of the food chain, and this book shows their importance.

Eugene Clark know as a Shark Lady" was a marine biologist who concentrated on understanding sharks. Her research helped us understand these beautiful, timid fish.
