It was a really tough year. Les contacted me out of the blue and answered the call. He checked in on us often to pray and encourage me when the spirit was running low. I don't think he knew how much that meant to me. I told him so, but I don't think he fully understood how much he helped. We never met up in person, ae feiloa'i i talosaga. So as I waited in the car for our son to get off work, it hit me. This gentle soul is gone and I'll never get a chance to thank him in person for his kindness during a very hard time in my life. And so I wept in regret for my friend and the grief that his loved ones are in because of his absence from their lives. I came very close to losing my husband. What we're going through now is the third time God has saved him. I cannot fathom the void left behind by such a spirit.
Les, when you take a break from joyriding with Matt to check your FB page, I just wanted you to know that I have never forgotten your kindness. Thank you for being there. Please give my folks and my kids a hug from me. You're home now and we will all be along sooner or later, so please save us a spot at the table. Until we meet again. ..💖Adel]]> 2021-08-12 08:07:28 UTC https://padlet.com/sagapolutelemona/25amibpytfxyfc1l/wish/1676578088 Les, https://padlet.com/sagapolutelemona/25amibpytfxyfc1l/wish/1677587846 It's been said and heard many times that the Lord only takes the best and that would be true statement in your case as you always lived to serve him who is the BEST!  My memory about you happens to be graduation day.  I've always seen you around, of course who could miss this tall athletic guy walking around on campus whether at Fa'asao or on you guys end in Malisi but we never even chatted.  But graduation day came and all I remember was we were party hopping at all the parties we can get to before night fall.  Lo and behold for some reason you and Lincoln's party happen to be the last party spot we ended up at in Vaitogi.  Let's skip all the details(cough, cough) but it was the most packed party from what I remember and probably the liveliest and from the way I witness your life through your FB page you seem to have the liveliest party on this earth for the Lord and he knew you were one of the BEST.  So I say you gather up your c/o 87'ers up there (sisters and brothers) and your throw the liveliest party from above with them as we will celebrate our 34 year reunion from below and we will feel each other's presence as this celebration has long been overdue!  We will definitely miss you as you were suppose to be with us on this end but no-one questions the Lords decision.  Turn up our brother, turn up for the Lord as you always did!  Manuia lou malaga!
