Scout feels that she just committed a crime by being able to read and write. Scout now had to wait and see for what her brother had in mind to create this snowman with such little snow they had. Then she realized he was going to use dirt/ mud as the first layer, and then cover it in snow. This realization is important because they made the biggest snowman most people in their town had ever seen, and it surprised lots of people.

It makes me wonder what was so bad about these dogs that made Atticus shoot it, when it did not do anything so far besides walk towards them. This was important to Scout because she was humiliated infront of her class. It was also important because her first day of school was terrible. This didn’t move the story but, it did tell us that she is exeled in reading.

--This moment creates an Aha Moment, because the kids thought Atticus would never hurt an animal. They thought he had never done anything to hurt anything or anyone. The kids realize, after the shot, that Atticus used to be the best shot in Maycomb. The kids quickly found out they did not know everything about Atticus

Even though this piece of the text is not advice it does affect Jem. I know this because Jem had then asked if she had died free. Living a life to die is no way to live.
