1. Individual is harmful beliefs that ones race is superior to another race.
2. Institutional racism is racist built while a system which places mainly black people on the lower end of the system setting them up for poverty and other issues. I feel like only white people can be racist because they hold that power and privilege in which POC doesn't receive. White people are a advantage because they are receiving more government help and overrall support within the system that they can benefit off of. For example Redlining is a system where a residential security maps where the areas on the maps had labels and ¨groups of people¨ that best fit that area. The red area of the map was described as a ¨hazardous¨ which best would fit low-class white and blacks. This redlining came with very very harmful effects such as wealth gaps and less resources overall compared to white people. Institutional racism is way more harmful in my opions because when a whole system is against one group of people it makes it harder for that group of people succeed or even live a decent life.

1. The difference is individual believes that ones own race is superior to another race. And with that they support discrimination but only when it is not aimed towards their race.So basically it is like a doubled standard thing, they hate it when other speak wrongly to them but at the same time supports it with their well being and trust in their own race. The difference is for institutional is that even though they are discriminating against other races they hold power and start to feel untouchable in many need fields like education, medical, and even the law, so they start to make loop holes and put the other races under and at a disadvantage.
2.The only ones who can be racists is the race with power or better yet the race that supports it only if it is not aimed towards their racial group. So anybody can be racist and still be against the obstacles or racist challenges other may throw at them.
3.The minority racial groups is at a disadvantage and the majority group is at an advantage.
4.Institutionalized is more harmful , I say this because with a blink of an eye they can incarcerate you, take away important education resources, deny you from a job, and also leave you stranded so your only option is to break the law and become a prison ¨slave¨ or do hard labor at an under wage paying job in a factory.

In the first meaning, anybody may be racist if they believe they are superior to another racial group; in the second meaning, only white people may be racist since they are considered as the superior race. White people benefit from institutional racism, whereas minorities suffer from it.Because it encompasses economic and political systems, institutional racism is a complex issue.

Individual racism is ones own opinion and beliefs about someone else based on their race, it doesn't affect you as much as institutional racism because it's a whole system against you putting you at a disadvantage . Anyone is entitled to their feelings and beliefs so anyone can be "racist" or prejudice, but institutionally, white people can be racist because they are the "superior" race. Black people are definitely at a disadvantage and white people are are at a advantage. Institutionalized racism is more harmful because having a whole system against you is way more effective because it has way more power over you.
