2. I am quite an inquisitive person and also outgoing . I love to question about everything , especially those I'm interested in . And though I'm an outgoing person, I usually get nervous during my speech which really affect my performance,but I'm trying to through that .

And when talking my weaknesses in English is that I couldn't get every points or marks in my paper 3 part B . 2. I am an introverted person and I would like to listen to teacher's saying in learning rather than asking many questions.Some teachers have said before that I always have a doubtful face in lessons but it isn't true:) That's means I am serious in lessons.

2. I am an introvert and shy person. I rarely speak and ask in the class. I am very passive but I will be very attentive to class. I feel very nervous and not confident to speak in English.
3. I hope I can attain more exam skills about reading, listening, writing and speaking. Also, I hope I can learn more vocabulary and phrases so that I can express myself correctly in English and understand the articles. My grammar is poor so I hope I can improve it. 3. Reading is the most urgent aspect I have to improve. I would like to know more about the techniques and skills when I am doing the paper. As for writing paper, grammar is the most important thing I have to improve like my grammar ruins the whole writing I guess haha

2. Hi Miss Wong. I guess I intend to introduce myself as a fair person like I am really medium for most of the things. I am a "reflective" person, more likely to be mature I can say. I am more eager to observe rather than voice out. I have huge passion towards English and I will make a good learner.

2. Hello Miss Wong, I am a pessimistic person so I really have a grave concern towards my English. My english is poor yet I cannot find an effective way to get improvement. Nonetheless, I dare to try again and again despite the painstaking process. I am obsessed with English as I enjoy watching American TV shows and appreciating the American culture. This is the crucial impetus for me to learn English.

3. As my English is very poor (especially in reading and listening), so I am looking forward to acquire more exam skills, for instance, the structure and vocabulary items for writing, the time management, answering skills and the skills of reading the passage for reading. Besides, in speaking, I am keen to learn some skills to make responds and the ways to improve the content part.

2. Basically I'm interested in sooo many things. I love physics, maths, aviation, arts (actually what I dun hate is what I'm interested) I dun like being an exam machine coz I belief learning is not for examinations but for fun haha

3. Actually I've taken ielts exam in May and I found myself good at listening but performed poorly in speaking. But then at school I'm not that bad in oral exams, so I guess the reason of getting poor grade in ielts speaking was that I didn't have any ideas abt the topic. This is quite a struggle coz it happens in school exams as well. When I'm not that interested in that topic, I dun have anything (meaningful) to say, let alone having the right words to express myself.
4. When I watch YouTube clips, I love distinguishing the speaker accents. Speaking in different accents deliberately is super duper fun lol AND soz for writing informal

2. Hello Ms Wong:) I am not an outgoing person but I can still get along well with my friends. I would like to have more discussion with classmates and teachers. However, I cannot express myself well in English as I am lacking in vocabulary. Also, I usually feel frustrated in my poor English results because I cannot find a suitable way to learn English, especially in reading and speaking. Despite the poor results I had, I will try to make strenuous efforts to improve my English.

3. I am looking forward to acquire more skills and techniques in answering the long questions and the time management in reading. I yearn for more suitable vocabulary items to express my opinions in speaking exams and of course is to communicate with foreigners in the society. Moreover, my poor grammar is also a big problem in writing. Therefore, I hope that there are more exercises or past paper provided and thus I can practice more!

2. Hi, Miss Wong! I am a cheerful person who smiles a lot! I get along well with my friends too:) I am dare to express myself as I think communicating with others is vitally important and closely connected with our daily life. I would like to share my laughs to all I know and sharing the joy with others makes my life become contented. However, sometimes I will be jittery and bewildered once there are important events. I am trying hard to overcome this and calm down when once I feel nervous!

3. I love to learn English and it would be great if I can attend rich-in-skills English to prepare for my future. My weakest part is writing since I don’t have rich vocabulary items even though there are ideas in my brain. Therefore, I can’t express my ideas well in writing.

2. Hello Ms Wong :-) I am quite a passive person and I am not courageous enough. I believe that English is very important to us yet my English is so poor. I don't refuse learning English (actually I like English because it's cool to speak fluent English) but I just feel like I am out of my depth on this subject, despite I've tried to work hard. I cannot find a suitable and efficient way to improve my English results. And... I am especially poorer in reading, writing, and speaking (basically besides listening). I wish I can improve my English, by paying more efforts and working more laboriously.

3. I'm so glad to have you with us in our last school year. I would like to and look forward to acquire more skills for the public exam. I don't know how to answer the reading paper with accurate answers. I also do abominably in writing, probably due to the lack of vocabulary items and different syntaxes. This makes me cannot express myself well in the composition, because my mind cannot translate the Chinese ideas into English. I hope we can have more opportunities to practise our spoken language too (though I'm so nervous with it). I wish I can catch up with the others in our class asap!

2.Hello! Miss Wong! I consider myself a optimistic person who do not worry much, as I think life will still go on no matter we are happy or not . So, I like living in the moment. If you see me, you may find me very thin, but actually, I eat a lot , but there is still a benefit for me that I can eat anything just casually, without second thought:)
3.Making use of the English lessons is really important as the time left is limited. I would like to know more skills on handling those four papers which can make me understand more clearly what I am going to do when doing the papers. As for grammar, I think my grammar usage is not that poor, as I have got practices in tutorial class, but the problem may appear that, like many people do, I do not have enough vocabulary to express myself, I think. That's also the thing I want to improve.

2. Hello Miss Wong! I am quite outgoing and I love accepting challenges. I enjoy learning new languages and new stuff but I am not the kind of person that can sit still and learn for hours, therefore I change my learning method rapidly in order to keep the passion of learning. I am good at analyzing and summarizing as well.

3. Writing and Listening (writing tasks) are the weaker papers for me comparing with other papers. The biggest problem for me is not able to express myself completely, even though I have good ideas, I cannot express them properly and I have to give up on that. This have confused me for a long time but I do not know how to tackle this. I really hoped it can be solved cooperating with you Miss Wong.

4. I am really looking forward to cooperate with you Miss Wong! We have been using our time in English lessons with a very low efficiency for two years. I am very glad to hear that you are taking in charge for our class, as we all know we have a lot more to catch up and time is chasing after us. We all believe that with your teaching, we can definitely improve our English, no matter exam skills or the language usage. 2. mmm...well i can be an extrovert sometimes when i find myself in a new environment and I like to make new friends. But then I'm not a talkative person and sometimes i think it is hard to find a mutual interest or topics to talk with my friends. So most of the time i'm an introvert at school and i don't talk much. To conclude, I consider myself as a very 'dull' but an easy-going person.

3. Exam skills and grammar. For all these years, i'm sure that i really lack exam skills and i always wonder if there is any 'special way' to deal with the 4 papers. As for vocabulary, sentence patterns......I have learnt much of these in tutorial centre and i believe that this is not an urgent issue at this moment.

4. When i heard that you will be our new english teacher I was so excited!!! I wonder if you remember you had actually been my english teacher four years ago.....(i was a form 1 student at that time;D ) To be honest, your english lessons are the most interesting and relaxing one compared to other teachers' english lessons. (not kidding!! this is for real) As I recall my memory, I remember you taught me and other 1D classmates how to correctly pronounce 'Louis Vuitton' and also told us who is Leonardo Da Vinci and also told us to stress the syllable 'Ham' when we pronounce the word 'hamburger' :'))))))))) Anyway I hope I can learn more about you and also english in the coming year. I promise I will work hard on english since it is one of my favourite subjects<3!!!!!!
PS I understand that it is a hard work to become our new english teacher since you have to boost our english proficiency only in a few months before DSE. I guess you may feel stressed and frustrated. I guess it is because you dont know about us and you have no idea how to help us. I'm sorry that i dont really come up with any way to reduce your pressure. But i believe that me and my classmates will do our best to fulfill our responsibilities as a student so to lessen your burden:)

2. Hi Ms Wong, I'd say I'm outgoing and talkative as I love meeting new people and getting along well with them. However, it may seems a little bit contradictory because I prefer staying alone sometimes, this gives me privacy and I can soak in a oneself-environment to think of different things.

3. To be honest, I didn't really work hard for the past English examinations, one of the reasons is that I can't really find a systematic pattern or simply a way to study English. I have been keeping a vocabulary book and updating new words but i don't have a method to help 'remember' (or I'd say to really own the word). Also, I think I need be familiar with exam skills, particularly in reading.

4. I'm looking forward to work with you and yes, I know it will be a challenging year in F.6 but I believe with hard work we'll succeed!

I would say I am a diligent and capable student and a responsible and helpful monitress. (And I hope I can keep it up XD) Speaking of learning English, I consider myself more of a passive learner, though I love English, especially English literature. Yet, I think I am improving by not only relying on the teaching from the school but also seeking help from the internet, for example, to read more English everyday to work harder on the subject.

3. The first thing I want to improve will be Reading Skill. Reading has been my weakest link for a long time and I found myself struggle a lot to define the gist, the tone and in particular explain writer's purpose/message/attitude.
Apart from that, lacking of thematic languages and poor grammar are also huge problems for me as they prevent me from expressing my ideas accurately and vividly in writing and speaking.

4. I can't wait to have lessons with you! I understand that school life in F.6 is going to be crazily busy but I think it is vitally important to keep working hard so I will have no regrets no matter what result I get in HKDSE. 2. I'm an outgoing and optimistic person.But I would consider myself as an introvert sometimes because I'm unwilling to attend any face-saving party..... (I don't know whether this kind of idea is belong to the characteristic of an introvert :p) I like to have discussion with my classmates because I can learn from them. Also, I like doing sports in my spare time such as swimming and playing different kinds of ball games, this can make my mind more clearer and get to know what should be done next (you'll find my skin tone a bit "healthy" haha xd)

2.Hi, Ms Wong , I would say I am an outgoing person and I like to talk to my friends and share my ideas and feelings to them. It’s really comfortable when I speak to them. However, I am so shy to speak to some new friends as I feel awkward.I Is it sounds a bit strange ? LUCKY,I am an easy-going person which can soon break the ices. This can help me to expand my social circle and get along with my friends as well as maintain a good interpersonal relationship.
In English, sometimes I feels really helpless even thought when I go to tutorial centre for hoping to improve my English. Especially in reading, because i really cant get the idea of the long long passage. Even though I did lots of exercises . But it seems not works in reading. I wonder that if I adopt wrong method or I haven’t had a clear mind that what is the purpose of doing one passage or what do I want to improve during the exercise. I think I should adopt a more systematic way in learning English rather than just keeping doing without any purpose.
I will try my best to get in touch with english and try to enjoy learning english . As english is really important no matter in workplace or daily communication.

2. Hello Miss Wong, I think I am an introvert person. Whenever I stand in front of class, I always feel nervous and I am shy to express myself. The only subject that I am confident with is visual arts. I actually enjoy in different subjects (of course including English). However, I really weak in English and that why I am not confident to speak or write in English. Although I can't get excellent results, I actually try hard to do everything especially on studying.

3. I have no idea how to improve my English actually.>_< The paper that I may do best is listening. For the other three papers, I never get a good result. I am curious to many kinds of things and willing to participate to some activities to try more and gain more memories, but then, it is funny that I am not really a proactive person when it comes to a moment that there is a chance for me but I seldom raise up my hand or maybe let out a voice to grab those chances. Of course, as I am a talkative person, I LOVE chatting with my friends very much when I am free but when I attend the lesson, I usually do keep my mouth shut and listen to the teacher as I think this way is the only to learn most from any lesson.
3. I would want some rich-in-skill lesson as my skills of four papers are not really good, especially my writing, then reading comes to second. Also, interactive and interesting classes is the what I want as I will remember more about the lessons.

2. Hello Ms. Wong. I would say I am an outgoing girl as I find myself like to share my opinion towards different issues, especially on popular culture(what teens usually talk about). I have no problem in daily conversation but I am weak in oral (no matter Chinese or English) as I feel cowardly to speak. I am eager to learn new knowledge and attempt challenges. However, I am weak in languages that I cannot express myself clearly and accurately (especially in English).
3. For reading, I feel confused when I answer the questions since I don't know what the keywords in the marking scheme are. I often use words with similar meaning or even synonyms which can gain no marks. Therefore, I would like to learn how to capture the right words.
For writing, I have poor vocabulary. I tried to use different words with similar meanings in one essay but it is inevitable for me to use some words repeatedly. I would like to know a systematic way to learn more vocabulary instead of reciting them one by one.
For paper 3, it is often that I got one essay with high marks (like 15/18) while the remaining ones fails. The reason behind is that I have sufficient time to copy tonnes of information without careful consideration for the passages which can score high marks finally while I fail when I put the information which I think it is vital only (as there is not much time left). I would like to learn the way of seizing the information which score marks so as to spend every minute in exam efficiently.
For oral, the largest problem that I encountered is to speak. I can think of some ideas during preparation and I have no problem in the contents. However, I feel fearful when I start to speak, mostly because of my accents. Besides, I cannot organize my words at once and I will say 'erm' many times in one speech. I would like to learn some phrases which I can use in oral, so that I can make my speech more organized.
4. I find it difficult to have improvement in English as I don't really like to attend tutorial classes which are so tiring for me. I want to do something like self-study to help with my English before starting to search for tutorial classes. Would you please give me some advice? Last but not least, I am looking forward to F.6 English lessons with you though I know the school life will definitely be crazy. I am really glad to have you to be my English teacher! 2. Hi, Miss Wong!I am a slow-to-warm-up person. I seems quite quiet in the class but actually I am not afraid to communicate with others or to speak in front of the class. I would like to read Chinese books rather than English books, so I do not have lots of vocabulary items to express myself well. Therefore,I will try my best to read more English books in the future, especially in this summer holiday!

3. I am weak at writing and speaking. As I have said I didn't read a lot in English, so I found it difficult to express the idea in my mind in a better way and to enrich my content in oral practice. 2. I am a quiet person in class. Sometimes I feel embarrassed when I need to answer the questions. It is because my classmates have really great English level while I have lots of weakness in this subject. It quite upsets me to find a large gap between us. Also, I am not a well self-discipline person and
I would be lazy sometimes. Therefore, I may need some
little force in studying. However, I will work hard to improve my English in the coming year.

3. I always misspell some difficult words in my writing paper. Also, I do not have enough vocabulary items to help me understand the meaning of the passage and also express my points in writing. 2. Hello Ms. Wong :) I am an outgoing girl as I talk a lot. I am also very cheerful that I laugh a lot. Sometime you might not understand my laughing point:):) I get along with my classmate very well. We discuss a lot meaningful or pointless topics. I am also very lazy. I could say I am the laziest girl in the class. I am trying to change and word hard now. Like what they said, DSE is coming!!
3.I think the most urgent problem for me now is lack of exam skills. Sometime I could understand the article but I kept answering wrong and I couldn't find the accurate points. And I heard that some can answer right without understanding the article. I would like to know these skills. That's for the listening paper also. I could find the points but I always copied useless points. Beside, I am also lack of vocabulary and always make silly grammar and spelling mistakes. I knew that these can not be changed in a short time but I hope that I can make it better.

2.Hello Ms Wong! You may say I’m an outgoing person as it seems I talk a lot in class but actually Im an extroverted introvert haha

English is one of fav subject tbh as to me English is not only a subject but a language that can be used for communicating with others but sometimes I find it hard to talk to foreigners by English as it is quite difficult to organize complete sentences and say it loud with confidence by fluent and natural accent. To be honest I always prefer Chinese novels than English ones as it seems a lil’ boring when it comes to reading sth that you don’t really 100% understand. So Ms Wong do you have some recommendations of English movies or books? It would be great if you can recommend some interesting movies and books!! Ohh Songs too! Although I quite like English songs, my fav genre is still Cantopop xoxo

3. I think my problem in English exams is the lack of vocabulary items as I’ve mentioned above I don’t really enjoy reading English books…I know this may not be sth you can help but I hope you help us how to express our opinions in writing paper in a more natural way! And I hope we will be drilling more past papers on lesson!

2.Hello Ms Wong^_^ I am Havis. I am a nervous person who always lack of self confidence. I am a bit pessimistic about my study, especially English. However I am a talkative girl in front of my classmates, I would like to share my opinions,ideas or experiences with others all the time when we get close. Actually I am not a hardworking person but I will always try hard to finish all my work and duties. If I am interested in learning one thing, I will put all my efforts and time in learning it.
3. In my opinion, I am very weak at English. No matter basic knowledge like grammar or sentence structures,even vocabularies are insufficient. As you can clearly see from the paragraph I typed above. Besides, I think I am lacking of exam skills. I always don't know how to answer the questions in question paper. For paper1, sometimes I can't understand or misunderstand the passage and the questions. That's why I don't have any idea how to answer those questions. For paper2, I don't have much vocabularies. And my writing is not fluent within the wrong sentence structures. I also don't know any format of different form of writing. For paper3, I cannot listen English in a fast speed. I can't distinguish and jote those important points from the audio. And in the writing part, my problem is same as those in paper2. For paper4, I am so nervous to speak because I cannot use the right word to express my point of view. Therefore I hope I can learn more skills and vocabularies from class in order to improve my English.

2.Hi,Ms Wong! I would say that I'm a little bit shy. I'm afraid of speaking in front of class cause it makes me feel embarrassed. And I'm a hard-working student who try the best to learn English ...but honestly sometimes I'm lazy.
3. In F.4, my marks in English exam are not that poor. However, soon it comes to F.5, I don't understand why it turned worst, especially in paper 1. I'm really worry about that so I hope to learn more skills for paper 1. Also, I would like to know how I could improve in writting. I hope you would give detailed comments in the coming writting assignment.

2. To be honest, I don't think I'm a good student at all HAHAXD(maybe you will find it very soon) I'm quite sure that I'm an outgoing and sociable person(never be shy? XD) especially towards my lovely friends and Cedars. Sometimes, I found myself very weird...... Girls usually care a lot about their image but obviously I'm not...... I always grimace and do something stupid to make my friends laugh (sounds childish XD) As for studying, I admit that I'm a lazy learner(maybe because I lost my confidence in academe?)...... But now, I'm trying to push myself and correct my attitude towards study. (Hoping the situation can be changed before DSE...)

3. In fact, I didn't learn much English in the past 3 years in school. Most of my English is learnt from movies and TV drama. I don't think some of them are formal words that can be used in examinations. So, I would like to learn more exam skills from English lessons. Moreover, the greatest problem of me is writing. I hope I can learn more sentence patterns and vocabulary in your lessons. Plus, as I know, there is nine writing categories in part B of paper 2. I would like to drill and learn more about some particular topics such as social issue, debating and popular culture. As I didn't learn much about those topics in senior form. As for speaking, I would love to learn the correct accent and pronunciation. As I have found that we always miss out some details in our pronunciation which create "Chinglish". Other than writing and speaking, my reading and listening are totally messed. I hope I can gain some skills though drilling past papers.

2.Hello miss wong :D! I'm Kitty and I'm an introvert person. I often feel uncomfortable to start a conversation with someone.I know being an introvert is a weakness so i'm trying my best to change it!I love to travel because there is always something new to taste and it opens my eyes,allows me to learn and to love other cultures.
I love learning but i hate studying and examination as it makes me feel stressed.
3.English is a difficult subject for me as i think English Grammar and pronunciation are complex.I afraid to speak with others in English as they are speaking at an alarmingly fast pace,and i found that i don't have any vocabulary to give response.Therefore i'm not good at all paper.When i moved to form 4 ,my scores at English was getting worse and worse.I find it bewildered to study everything correlated to English.Chinglish always appear in my writing, I wish I can improve it by reading more books and newspapers.Also,the main problem I face in reading is I don't know how to answer the long question including the open ended questions.Moreover, for listening part B,I can't give out an accurate answer every time, i just copy the whole sentence from the data file.I hope I could learn the skills of distinguishing the main point and to give out correct answer.

Hello Ms Wong^_^I am a passive and shy person.I like Physics and Maths but not English because my English is not good:'(My English marks start dropping from my form 4.I have a lot of hobbies like playing piano and trumpet.They make me feel relax.I like writing calligraphy as well because I believe my words represent my personality.

I am shy.When I having the oral exams,I can't speak well because I am not confident enough to speak English.Also,I am not good in grammar,so my writings always have a lot of grammar mistakes and I want to improve it. Everytime when I am having presentation or speaking, I usually feel anxious and my hands are shivering. I will do my best to improve my presentation skills and gain confidence by repeated exercising!! I know presentation skills are important for workplace communication and interviews… English is one of my favorite subject, I love watching foreign movies! I used to learn the pronunciation through watching movies! It’s a relax way for me to learn!! I wouldn’t treat learning English is a very formal academic studying, its more a hobby for me than an academic subject!! I have so much fun on English !!3.I think the most challenging part of this subject is reading! I have already learn many skills in tackling this paper. However I am not able to apply them on every exercise flexibly. I usually do not understand the purpose or rationale of the writer behind the passage! I know reading books can be a solution. However I am quite a lazy learner… But I will be much more eager to learn in the coming term!! Also, the reason that I cannot get improvement in this subject is I do not understand the scoring method of the papers. I have a misconception that I can get a good result in speaking exam if I elaborate my own opinion and points. However, I ignore the most important part—communication with groupmates!! Also, I do not show much confidence to the examiner. 2. Hello, Ms Wong. Obviously, I think that everyone will have a first impression on me that I may be an extremely serious, introverted and bored person. Due to my serious outlook ( actually I don't think that I look to be so serious, but most of my friends will comment like this on me ), I find that it made me hard to make friends. To be honest, I am indeed a passive and introverted person. However, that is because I have not yet adapted the new environment, once I have familiar with the surroundings, I will show my true self and become a talkative ,active and confident person. Time is needed for me, but unfortunately that time is also limited. Therefore, I realize that I must have to improve myself in all the aspects which I am not good at. So, go fighting !!!
3. Actually, my weakest and least confident subject is English Language. Firstly, I am certainly scared and self-abased in speaking English as I don't know how to make use of my known vocabulary items for expression in a flexible way. Secondly, I want to know a more effective and may be an interesting way to improve my vocabulary items. Practically, I don't have enough self-control to target myself that I have to learn a certain number of vocab each day. I had tired , but sadly, it did not last too long.
Thirdly , I would like to learn more practical reading skills, especially the steps and processes of doing a reading comprehension. To show me how to find some key words or sentences in a paragraph, so that I can do the questions in a more efficient way.Finally, I also have some hindrances when doing the listening, especially the part B. I usually miss the points and don't know how to rewrite the data or maybe the sentences from the data file concisely.
At last, hope that I will get a obvious improvement with the help from Ms Wong.And I will strive for it .

I am a passive person and quite a bit shy and diffident among the class, but I do love learning English as I think there are always some interesting things we can investigate from English. In class, I can cooperate well with my classmates. Although I am not confident enough and feeling nervous to express my opinion to the class in English but I am willing to share ideas with my classmates actually, I am actually someone who likes to ‘do’ but unwilling to ‘speak’ !! Actually, I have quite a lot of interest or hobbies, I like doing sports very much especially basketball and karate . I started to play basketball and karate since P.2. The excitement and

2. Hello Miss Wong! I am neither an extrovert nor an introvert person. Although I am willing to learn new friends and communicate with others, I am quite quiet in some situation. But I am not shy. I am willing to share my ideas with my classmates and friends. I have a clam deposition and I am actually a self-discipline person. I can manage the things which I need to do well.
3. Actually, I do love English. I like to watch some American film or video during my spare time. However, I usually rely on the caption of the film which I knew is a bad habit. I am trying to improve it as well. Writing is the most urgent aspect that I have to improve as I can't really express my ideas clearly sometimes.

Dear Miss Wong,
Do you have any idea how we should motivate ourselves? Sometimes i feel so hopeless and tired. i dont know what i am doing right now and i feel like a zombie.....having a meaningless and aimless life. I dont see any light at the end of the tunnel.....
Could you give any advice for me about motivation and a way to get rid of these negative feelings? Thank you >_<
