The mountains is a natural reserve. As wildlife has less and less places to live building a resort in this area will have dramatic consequences. 
The introduction of humans in the corridor will separed the area in two parts .Therefore it will stop species mating.  As a result  the homogenety of the genoms will increase that could lead to the extinction of some endemic species. Not even talking about pollution that will impact the behavior of the wildlife. Plus, light and noise pollutions at night will impact the hormonal cycle of the animals that will lead to behavior changes like agressivity.
The organization of tourist activities around wildlife can also be a threat for the animals living in the area. The modification of the landscape will be definitive.

As a member of the local environmental protection group I would like to share my concerns about the project of a new ski resort in the Jumbo Montain. 
First, we know as a fact that this region is a major wild life habitat. Those mountains welcome many species of animals such as grezzly bears for exemple. Then, it is also a migration path that would be vanished once the resort is build. 
Also, our protection group is greatly against the project that puts humain pleasure above animal life.

Having a small revenue and many health issues, I want my children to take care of me once they become adults. It would be a huge relief if my kids will be able to find work locally. So I think this resort is a benediction for poor families like mine, and is a magnificient opportunity to create jobs.
