It ended by Governor Kirby disbanding the Union with mark its defeat with no success.<br><br>Two other strikes during the 1920's after the war were the Great Railroad Strike of 1922 and the Boston Police Strike of 1929.</div>]]></description>

They were second place because motion pictures were just films playing with no sound included. That was until the movie, The Jazz Singer, came out which changed the film industry drastically. The significance of the film was not because of its meaning behind the story, but because the film was the first motion picture to include sounds in the film, hence started an era of sound films and ended silent films. </div>]]></description>
