During the process, the movements of head, shoulder and hip provide us the forces to turn our whole body to the other side of us and eventually the initial front leg of the initial posture will become the back leg of the final posture. If we assume our right leg as the front leg of our initial posture, we should turn our body in an anticlockwise direction until the point that we are finally facing the right side of our initial position. The examples of kata are JION, HEIAN NIDAN, GOJUSHIHO SHO, PINAN NIDAN, GOJUSHIHO, KOSOKUN DAI.
