Patricia Lambert is a South African human rights and labor lawyer. Before coming to the US in 2007 to direct the International Legal Consortium at the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, she served as legal advisor (1997 - 2006) to the South African government during the presidencies of Nelson Mandela and Thabo Mbeki. In that role she worked on various aspects of post-Apartheid law reform, including the implementation of her country's strong domestic tobacco control laws. Patricia was the lead negotiator and Head of Delegation for South Africa during the WHO FCTC negotiations and represented the African region on the Bureau that managed the negotiation process

As Vice President of International Communications at the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, Mark Hurley oversees efforts to utilize traditional and social media to create a conducive environment for policy change in low- and middle-income countries. Mr. Hurley manages training for journalists and media advocacy workshops for civil society advocacy groups. More than 11,000 journalists in low- and middle-income countries have received training from Tobacco-Free Kids during Mr. Hurley's tenure. He started up a ground-breaking effort to utilize digital media to mobilize social media followers to actively support policy change, and he manages Tobacco-Free Kids’ efforts to systematically discredit the tobacco industry. Prior to joining Tobacco-Free Kids Mr. Hurley served as Marketing and Communications Director for the World Wildlife Fund's (WWF) Global Forest Trade Network, an organization of the world's largest forest products companies supporting sustainable forestry. He has served on the governing bodies of several civil society/government/private sector alliances with The World Bank, US Agency for International Development, and the European Community.

Juan Carballo is legal consultant for Latin America working on the Food Policy program. Dr Catherine Egbe is a research psychologist and public health scientist. She obtained a PhD in Psychology and Health Promotion from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), Durban South Africa. 
She is an alumna of the Center for Tobacco Control Research and Education, University of California San Francisco, a World Health Organization collaborating center for tobacco control. 
Dr Egbe is a member of the Society for Research on Nicotine and Tobacco. She is the Lead Investigator of the following on-going studies: South Africa’s first Global Adult Tobacco Survey 2021, tobacco endgame in Africa, and University students’ exposure to e-cigarette and hookah marketing and advertisement. She has authored over 50 academic publications.
Dr Egbe currently works as a Specialist Scientist in the Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug Research Unit of the South African Medical Research Council.
