The children each took a box, decorated it with their parents and put their favorite objects inside. They brought them to school to present them to us so we could get to know them better. They also spoke about themselves through their portraits. We organized Melpos's party and everyone presented themselves wearing their favorite outfit. Because we are little stars, each child decorated their star by composing their name.

Each student with their family built their own box where they placed their favorite toys, photos of their family and when they were babies, their favorite food,..., and a letter written by the parents with information and dedications to their child.

The tale of the ugly duckling  taught my students  to accept themselves, not to distort themselves to resemble others, because they are perfect precisely for what they are. We also talked about the theme of bullying.
