What we do at our internship includes: taking patients' vital signs, ambulating patients to specific positions, making beds, emptying urinals, etc. Also, I have a part-time job at Town and Country Manor as a steward. What my job does includes: bringing trays to and from the kitchen, cleaning trays that were out of the kitchen, and delivering food to and from the kitchen. I am also BLS certified (Basic Life Support). I was awarded my BLS certificate in June of 2017, and I was awarded Honor Roll during the 2018-2019 school year. I'd like to be a Nurse Practitioner because I shadow many nurses and their work seem extremely fun to me. What nurse practitioners do include: diagnosing patients conditions, treatments and consultations, being generalists in patient care. With this statement in mind, I could work my hardest and still be happy by doing whatever I'd like to do! My philosophy in life is to always try my best and try to learn as much as I can whenever I can. This really reflects on me when I am at work and at my internship.
