Use Padlet to Summarize Readings (Sara)

I found this resource for more padlet ideas online.
1. Have students summarize a reading
2. Students answer the following:

Write down three things you learned. If you had to explain today’s reading to a friend, what would you tell them? What questions do you have about what you read?

3. The challenge would be to check responses. I'd need to carve out time.
4. I'd provide a rubric to help students understand expectations clearly.

1. Invite students to visit Hull House on their own time or during class time
2. Students will complete "missions" and answer the following:
- How is your field placement site influenced by the work of Jane Addams?
- What did you learn about planned change from Jane Addams' life and relationships with colleagues at the Hull House? What could you organization learn from this?
3. Challenges are student time/accountability. My time to assess and provide feedback.
4. I'd have to lay out expectations for depth of responses and time/engagement at the museum. A rubric would be helpful.

Reflection on how well we worked together to meet the guidelines after each discussion forum.

Then maybe students can refer to those ideas and resources in this location throughout the process.
