         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Pilgrims risked their lives and comfort of their home to start a new life in America. The Pilgrims' American Dream was to be able to have their own religious believes without being persecuted. In England, many Pilgrims who believed the Church of England violated their biblical beliefs became known as Separatist. This is because they thought differently and were forced to have secret meetings. The Pilgrims wanted the freedom and respect to believe and practice Christianity. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Puritans of Massachusetts valued their Christian beliefs. They strongly believed in God and member's of Puritan society had to follow a strict moral code. The Puritans valued religion so much that they&nbsp; believed people who did not follow and accept Christianity should be punished.<br>This shaped their American dream into a ,metaphorically speaking, circle. I describe their American dream as a circle because it represents an never ending cycle of repetitive prohibitions. The whole purpose of the migration of the puritans was to be able to believe and practice their religion without persecution. Now, they have become the type of people they ran away from.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>During the Enlightenment, Americans valued their rights. This was a time when people began to reason and question the order of things, this includes religion. These values shaped their American dream into reality. By valuing rights and enlightenment ideas,  helped shape the minds of the leaders of the American revolution thereby affecting the revolution itself. Americans valued rights during the enlightenment period and therefore created the document we know now as " The Bill of Rights"</div>]]></description>
