Today President Nixon and us, his entourage, traveled to China. He's been waiting a very long time to travel to China. It was because they were going through a rough patch with the Soviet Union. China seems very vulnerable at this moment, so Nixon saw this and wanted to act full force upon it.

When we arrived in China, we were greeted by their ambassadors.We watched as America started becoming closer to China. Our sports teams were playing together. President Nixon using Detente as a secret motive allowed the U.S. a calmer way of having China on our side. Making China an ally will increase the opportunity to gain the Soviet Union as an ally also. The Soviet Union was afraid of us for having a close relatuonship to China. We were powerful in numbers. After Nixon's visit to China, we then headed to the Soviet Union. To my surprise, we were welcomed! 
As soon as we landed, Nixon was determined to address the nuclear threat. He said that we already had more than enough nuclear weapons to destroy a nation many times over. He demanded the balance between the powers, taking into consideration that people feared the end of the world. Nixon and Premier Leonid I. We traveled to Vietnam after the Vietnam War. With a little help from Kissinger making it easier for us to enter. We were welcomed by President Nguyen Van Thieu.
President Nixon and President Nguyen Van Thieu talked about military options. Nixon is planning on withdrawing the U.S troops.
He wants them to return home.

Nixon discussed with the Soviet Union produced a treaty, which was ready to be signed when we, Nixon and the gang, visited Moscow. The Strategic Arms Limitation Talks, also known as SALT,  Treaty went into effect when it was approved by our congress. Since many officials were worried that the treaty would leave us unprepared, we since then improved the conventional weapons which, to our benefit, was not limited by the treaty.
