Non profit is when you don't get anything out of what you are doing whether it be something like money  or even stuffed animals if you are doing something like a toy drive.
I would give to St. Jude hospital if I had unlimited funds. I would give to them because they don't make any of their patients pay for any of the treatments.

Nonprofit business are business that are not aiming for money for themselves but, instead using those items and/or money to give to people who need it. If I had unlimited money I would donate to AFSP(American Foundation of Suicide Prevention) or The American Cancer Society because both Suicide and Cancer are killing tons of Americans per year.
