Hello come in take a seat at your assigned seats, your seat should have a name tag for you. Today you will be taking orders from me, and when you are taking orders I expect no attitude. First off all you will address me as sergeant Streepy because here in the army we address people by their last names. Great now that you all have your seats I will divide you in half. You half are Japanese and you will be learning what you need to wear and what you need to bomb. You half are U.S. and I will divide you into two groups, you are Identifiers and you half are Scanners and I will go more in depth later. But know I will bring in your officer be careful I don't think he is happy.

I am glad to see you all finally showed up, you are five minutes late it is unacceptable in the army you are always 5 minutes early. You were supposed to be here at 2205 hours but instead you were here at 2210 hours, and just in case you forgot for army time you subtract the hours by twelve. When you are on your shift, which we will talk about later, you are expected to be both on time and be dressed accordingly. What you will need when you show up to work is a white shirt and white pants, a tie and a white hat. These things are all mandatory you may not show up in your regular attire just because you're in Hawaii doesn't mean you're on vacation. If you are confused on what it should look like, look at me I am dressed up as If I'm on shift. As you can see I have the white shirt, pants, tie and a white hat this is how you should be dressed. Now that you know how to get dressed you and your other associates will pick out another colleague to help get ready, this colleague must agree to it. Once you have picked out your colleague start getting him dressed, then once you're done get it checked with me. Great job now go sit and wait for further instructions.

Japanese
So you are my new group of fliers? This is my new group of fliers, great we have a lot of work to do. First you will need to dress accordingly to be prepared for whatever is thrown at you. When you are on a mission you are expected to be in your outfit. Your outfit will consist of goggles, binoculars, a compass, a map, a backpack and whatever else you need. I am not your mother I should not have to remind you that you need your outfit. Today I am in my outfit for my bombing missions see I have goggles, binoculars, a compass and Now you will try, pick one person to dress up, then once done you are free to leave. Before you leave though it must be checked by me.

Half of you are identifiers and half of you are radar scanners. With the radar scanners we will be able to see any aircraft coming our way. With the identifiers we will be able to see who is coming our way and how many are coming our way. But don't worry it won't take away anytime from your surfing or golfing time you'll be doing this in shifts. But when it is your shift you’re expected to stay and do your job, private Fairman I know you tend to goof off during your job. There is plenty time for that later private. For the radar scanners it is crucial you know how to read this machine so pay attention. For every dot on the radar it means there is two planes. If the dot moves towards the middle it means it is moving towards you each shift is eight hours long and has a break 15 minutes long each every two hours. For the identifiers you guys or girls are never on shift but are always on call meaning if we need you you'll come right away kind of like some doctors. Your job is very important, with your job you will need to know how to read what kind of aircraft it is, what direction they are coming from and how far they are away. You will need to remember this so listen closely if the indicator is red that means its military, if it's green it is civilian, if it is yellow it is advertisement and orange is other planes but red is really the only thing you have to worry about. You can tell which way they are coming from by the north, south, east and west on the radar. Last but not least you can tell how far away they are on the ones, each line represents 10 miles. Also try not to brag to much to the radar scanner they get pretty jealous about how easy your job is with not being on shift.

Japanese
The training you have been doing for the last four months was all for a great purpose the U.S are being unjust in how they are treating us. We have been as patient as we could and tried to talk to them but they just won't stop. It is time to strike, our target pearl harbor. We will be using torpedoes and bombs there will be no mercy on the U.S. We have exactly three days until our revenge on the U.S so listen up I will go over everyone's target during the attack. First we shall attack wheeler field shortly followed by a dive bomb attack on Hickam field. Then we will make our way over to the battleships just east of ford island and fire torpedoes. You will have three days to learn this attack plan there is no turning back now. You must not tell anyone what is going on here if we want to truly catch the U.S off guard and have this mission be successful. radar control officer. For the Japanese perspective I looked at the Japanese’s overall reaction and a pilot from the Japanese side named Abe Zenji. My sources had both strengths and weaknesses. Some of the strengths my sources had was it was a first person perspective so when I went to make the training it was really realistic because I had those stories and people to base it off of. Some of the weaknesses my articles had were that there weren't many facts to teach the kids, even though there weren't many facts there was still stuff to teach them. My sources are relevant because like I stated before they are first person articles so it is real people. I did this because I wanted to make it as realistic as I could that's why the sources are relevant to my topic.

Play phone ringing sound for caller 1

Host: Hello

Caller 1: Hi my question was what are you doing to stop the bombers?

Host: Right now we are currently using our anti Air guns on the Japanese bombers but there extremes range is proving it difficult to shoot them down. We are making this our number one priority to try to stop any further damage to the point where we are unable to rebound and get back on our feet.

Caller 1: you were just saying how you were trying to prevent any further destruction, well how much destruction is there and at this point will we be able to rebound?

Host: Well, yes there is a good amount of damage, we have lost a lot of good troops and a lot of supplies. So far we have at least 1,300 dead or injured troops, we have lost 87 lanes and 3 battleships have been sunk. At this point i'm not sure if we will be able to rebound it will take some grit and effort but we might be able to. I also know our government will not take this lightly, they will most likely rally whatever we have left and fight back.

Play phone ringing sound for caller 2

Host: Hi

Caller: Hi, You said Hickam field was attacked by the bombers are there any survivors, how many died, are there a lot of survivors or just a few.

Host:
Yes ma'am Hickam airfield was attacked we are not sure how many have died the reports are still coming in. We are doing are best right now one of our main priorities is searching and trying to rescue any survivors from the damage. Then when these survivors are found we will send them to the hospital for immediate treatment.

Caller: Thank you very much

Host: your welcome

Play phone ringing sound

Host: hello... Oh ok ,alright, thank you

Host: This is just in the the search and rescue parties are now transferring wounded men to the hospitals. Once the hospitals receive a patient they are doing there best to stabilize the patient. We are not focusing on fixing the injury right now because there are too many people who are injured to fix all of them.

Play phone ringing sound for caller 3:

Host: Hi

Caller: hi I was wondering well what are you doing to stop the injury from getting to the point where there is no healing it.

Host: I do not know the exact details of what they are doing because it is different for each person. But I can assume they are bandaging the wounds and applying tourniquets to people to help keep them alive. If you don't know what a tourniquet is it is where they'd take of the sailors belt off and wrap it around the sailors damaged body part really tight to cut off the circulation.

Caller: Thank you

Host: your welcome and this will conclude our radio Broadcast if you have any further questions you can ask them at our next radio broadcast.

Worst of all many of my fellow associates, my comrades, my brothers are wounded or dead. I fortunately was not hurt at all I was at the bar with two of my friends when the bombs started dropping. Our classes started shaking, the sirens started going off, and there was chaos in the bar, panic. My old items don't matter they are material items it is my brothers that I truly care about, you can replace a map or a phone but you can't replace people. I lost almost half of my battalion, they will not get away with this we will avenge our brothers. Right now we may not have the numbers to strike back but we will do everything we can. I'm just so mad and flustered and I don't know what to do I lost everything.
I never thought this would've happened especially to us, what we did to deserve this. Johanna this probably means we are going to war against Japan, it might even mean we're going to join the world war. Everyone is going to have to join if we are going to war against Japan which will mean I probably won’t see you for a while. I’m sorry I can’t come back and help you move, you can see if Bruce can help you move, I really wish I could be there. If I don't see you again I'm sorry I have to do this, I have to go fight. I want you to know gating to keep you safe and the rest of the world.

Yours truly, Jack Streepy
